Revisiting Barcade Center City 4 months in! Philly PA 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, May 2024

I found myself back in Philadelphia earlier this week, and just for the heck of it, decided to revisit the spot of my first video on this channel. The new Barcade in Center City Philly opened at the tail end of 2023, with a grand opening party just before New Year's. I first visited it right at the beginning of January and took a quick walkthrough with my old phone. Going back and looking at it now... oof! Super dark, grainy, not good quality at all. I upgraded to a new phone shortly afterwards and have been very happy with the results since, so hopefully you enjoy this new walkthrough with better lighting and video quality. It's still a little tough in some darker area, especially up on the second floor, but I'd say it's a vast improvement overall.
There have been a small number of changes since the first video. Some games got retired or moved off to other locations. On the pinball side of things, Monster Bash has been replaced with the newer Jersey Jack edition of Pirates Of The Caribbean, which I believe came from the Jersey City location. Pooyan has taken over Pepper II's spot near the main entrance. Magical Tetris Challenge has been replaced with a more reliable stock Tetris machine instead. Quick And Crash got moved out, and Wrestlemania was put in its place. And finally, say goodbye to Crazy Taxi but hello to another standup Sega driving game, Wild Riders. Unfortunately it wasn't up and running on this visit, but I can't wait to stop back and finally play this rare game!
Last but not least, if you stop by, make sure you grab the cheesesteak burger. It was a special, but supposedly they may add it to the fulltime menu. It was aaaaabsolutely delicious!
