This actually worked!! I had a year old stain j couldn’t get out and this worked. Make sure the mattress is really soaked with the water & soap/ water & hydrogen peroxide mix

If you mix all 3 at the same time it works just as well. You don’t even HAVE to spread all that baking soda on your bed. Just spray, wait , vacuum and enjoy. Stains gone

I've tried a similar way for my mattress and it does work! Definitely does remove odor.
what about stains/marks?
Hydrogen peroxide is the absolute bomb, I use it in a bottle, a couple tsp palmolive dish soap & an entire bottle peroxide & it will do anything. I have cleaned black shoe polish out of my beige carpet, it is awesome, I even brush my teeth with peroxide and baking soda so I thought you were absolutely brilliant when you pulled out both of those ingredients. Excellent job!!

To everyone wondering why the 3 ingredients aren't just combined upfront, I learned the hard way. If you notice, baking soda is gritty and doesn't fully dissolve so it clogged 2 of my spray bottles. This mixture definitely works, but I'll keep the baking soda separate next time🖤

I combined the detergent liquid soap and h. Peroxide and water into a spray bottle, and wiped down with micro fiber cloth. Cuts the process and cleaning time. H. Peroxide works wonders. I use it to wash and remove blood stains from undies whenever i have my periods

Invest in a few water proof mattresses protectors, easier to unzip and toss in the wash then having to deal with this

@@SuperJclyn this is for stains, for bed bugs you need to either REALLY heat up the mattress but youre better off wrapping the mattress in plastic and sticking it outside overnight during winter, the bedbugs are very weak to cold, pretty sure anything below zero will kill them pretty quickly

I just tries this and it worked wonders. Couch had rust marks. it was in storage for long time🙈 now its good as new. I used washing powder instead on dishwashing liquid. Also the bicarb makes the couch whiter. Parts not covered with it will show. Appreciation from South Africa

Or you can invest in a protective mattress cover. Both mattresses I own still look like new and I just toss the mattress cover in the washer and dryer every couple weeks.
Okay so what are you gonna do when your matters gets dirty ? Throw it in the washer and dryer ?

Just deep clean with vacum cleaner for wet and dry dust every month or once every 6 months will also do the trick to white it.
I would rather not spend 40 plus dollars. Covers are really over priced for any decent quality.
@@jaylenbrownfan2112 it's worth it if your mattress costs thousands of dollars. cleaning is never going to preserve it to the same degree as keeping it covered

I did this and it worked well... Beware that a brush can be abrasive to the matress, so consider using soft brittles. And the vacuum cleaner can blow the baking soda everywhere.
I heard someone say that it's better to use a powerful shop vac on a mattress rather than your regular vacuum.

She used Clear Dishwashing Liquid. Clear here means Something without colour so as not to pass on the colour of the liquid to the mattress.
1. vacuum mattress with upholstery attachment
2. scrub mattress with cleaning brush
3. scrub baking soda into mattress
4. vacuum mattress with upholstery attachment
5. spray and rub mattress with solution of water and 1 tablespoon dish soap
6. spray and rub mattress with a solution 1/2 water, 1/2 hydrogen peroxide
7. rub baking soda into mattress with cloth while spraying additional water/hydrogen peroxide solution
8. scrub mattress with cleaning brush
9. vacuum mattress with upholstery attachment

What about mold with the water seeping deep into the mattress?
2 options .. bleach or trash... bleach kills mold topically but the spores usually reactivate
uhh really simple, dont be dumb and use a ton of water, she said DAMP not SOAKING WET, use the baking soda to absorb the water and do it in the summertime
Light with the water. You can also use the bubble foam from dish detergent off the top.
I am surprised you don’t have a mattress pad on, so much easier to keep the mattress clean.
