Just joined today.is the screen shot done through the s50 or on my Ipda it self? Also can you show or do you have a video of settings used with raw video of Saturn ? Great stuff thanks
I'm not sure I totally understand the first question can you ask again? The screenshots are taken with the Seestar and are stored on the phone or mobile device.
As for Saturn and the other planets - while I have imaged them the Seestar isn't suited for them at all because they are very small. I may do a video about that - perhaps next.
@@TelescopeGreg Thank you I saw S50 users use RAW video data to process an image of Saturn. I've been trying but no joy. Also the screen shot I figured out using the S50 software. Happy New Year
The RAW is a fits file which won't open in lightroom. But the reality is you don't need the raw files. Take a screen shot which is saved to your mobile device and edit that.
Thank you very much this really helped me I really appreciate the straightforward video and it gets right to the point!!!

@@codyc.4830 Yes there is an option for RAW video but I have only used it on the moon. Even still the screenshot will give a great image.

@@TelescopeGreg so you are saying that we should just use the phones camera. Nobody edits Facebook/Instagram quality pictures.
