    So funny in the video you mentioned you were off to watch my premiere replay and stitch while I’m here watching you and stitching. Love this second scrap project too. Cheers, Christine 💙

      hehe I love when that happens, I'm still blown away by how it can feel like we're in each other's craft room when you're on the other side of the world from me, love that we can do that and totally for free, the internet is a wonder to me! :)

    Thank you Annie for the video. I love these little bells ,what a great idea. The rich red really sets it off beautifully. Very festive in that colour. They remind me of those paper things we use to make at school with silly sayings in them.

    Fabulous, I love the ones with the decorated edges, they show up so well with the contrasting threads.

      Thank you Maggie, I'm really glad you like them - they work better if at least one of the layers is slightly stiffer I think, the ones where they were both silk or soft cotton are a bit floppy, though still pretty I think. I reckon you could do strings of just the bells and it would look lovely :)

    I guess I missed what size are the squares, but I'm guessing about 5" square? Thanks much!

    • @artyfartyannie
      @artyfartyannie  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your question - the answer is that there wasn't a set size, it depended on what scraps I had, but yes, 5" would work really well. If in doubt, just take a piece of scrap and fold it as demonstrated to audition it and you'll be able to tell if it will work. I wouldn't go much smaller thann 4 as it woudl get fiddly. Hope that helps :)

    Are you saying "Shi Shi mirrors"? How do they stay on the fabric? Glue?

    • @artyfartyannie
      @artyfartyannie  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's Shisha, if you type in to the YT search box "shisha work" or "shisha embroidery" you'll get loads of results, I would recommend Sarah Homfray for nice clear tutorials on it :) ps it's stitched on, no glue involved.

    I spent a lovely half hour on the Bazaar page but they don't send to where I live

    • @artyfartyannie
      @artyfartyannie  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jacquie, sorry I'm so behind answering comments that I didn't pick this up at the time. They do send all over the world, but you can't put an order through in the normal way, you have to email them (click on the Contacts tab on their website), tell them what you want and they'll quote you for postage. If you try to put an order through, the automated system will refuse you, but if you email theym, they're very helpful and friendly. Hope that helps :)

    I have taken PP's advice and have changed my user name on YT. Just checking to see if it has worked.
