Even though it’s just a horror game it’s still sad. The story really hit me
MythTricity me too, myras sacrifice and her dialogue with sebastian before doin g it was so heart-breaking and nice at the same time: she threw away all, including her sanity and humanity as well, just to protect her daughter and husband at same time... best mother of the year

See the story part was ok but the boss fight was one of those ending bosses that kinda lacked luster imo. Shoot the glowy orb don't get smashed, easy. I think the first game was alot better.

I don't get why this game is already gaining alot of hate, like wtf, it honestly looks amazing, a much better improvement from the first game.
Some people just can't appreciate something good, they want something perfect.
John probably because a lot of people are still salty over the first game, so when they see something that's wrong with the game, say the voice acting, they'll cling to it as if it's the last thing they'll do and use it as a reason to dislike the game (Can't blame though, the voice acting can be very grating)
John the story is better a lot than the first one, the evil within 2 story felt emotional for me while the first one felt like a boring opera
John I mean just look at it, the lips aren’t synced the animations are hella clunky, especially if you’re close to an enemy, and the cutscenes aren’t smooth at all.
Johnny Ummm, you must have a bad system. I'll admit the lips at time weren't is sink, but I played on a PC from 2004 and teh game played perfectly, no bugs, no glitches, not even a single instance of lags, so go tell your lies elsewhere.

I loved the ending to this game. I had hoped for a large battle against security to escape from the Mobius facility, kinda like in one of the old Assassin's Creed games, but this was still great.

It really amazes me how all of this was stringed together. You play the first game, you think Sebastian was just unfortunately pulled into this, only to realize just how important he actually was in all this.

I think Joseph should be the 2nd main villain next to Ruvik. Holding a grudge on sebastian and kiddman for forgetting about him, or at least thinking that.
just finished the game right now on survival mode. A solid 9.5 for me. The story is very engaging and game play is amazing. also, one of the most scary game i've ever play. That damn ghost lady creep the heck out of me. But the final chapters are not really scary, i bough the first one, played it once and never touched. This one just hooked me up like no other game.
The first one is dark af and rly hard and the story is alot complex to understand

Gonna be honest, I nearly cried near the end. The music combined with the extreme realisation that Sebastian cannot leave with Myra tugged at the heartstrings a lot.

At first I was disappointed there wasn't a confrontation between Kidman and the Mobius boss, but then I remembered, this fight did happen in the DLC of The Evil Within 1.

If they make another Evil Within, the story should be Sebastian being dead and his grandkid (Lily's child) growing up and having visions of S.T.E.M. and when he finally matured, he/she asked his mother (Lily) about the S.T.E.M thing and Lily told everything (at this point, Lily is old and is about to die), Lily's son/daughter went to a journey finding the S.T.E.M. and somehow found a replica of the S.T.E.M. in an unknown place, when he/she approaches the S.T.E.M. he/she was hit in the head by an unknown force, when he/she fell to the ground and can barely see anything, he/she saw a group of secret organization kidnap her and became unconscious, they put him/her into the S.T.E.M. and then he/she woke up seeing the group of people who kidnapped Lily in the Evil Within 2, the leader in the group talked to him/her and said "I know you, you're Lily's son/daughter, I'm tired of you people tampering with our project". And the rest of the story are about Lily's son/daughter entering the S.T.E.M. and killing monsters and shit like that then at the end, he/she meets Sebastian, his/her grandfather and helped him/her escape and that's the end of the story, I know it's long and complicated but hey, it's a nice story.
There most likely won't be any EW3 as the game is not selling very well

Nah that would have been bad. The romance I just wasn't feeling it between the two. Maybe Kidman also has feelings for Joseph, since he's still alive. Also Sebastian still loves Myra even though she's dead.

Yeah she did shoot him, but that doesn't mean she hates him or anything like that, it was an accident. Also Joseph is alive, Juli confirms that to Sebastian. If you played the games you wouldn't have replied with a idiotic response. And I'm not saying for certain that Kidman has romantic feelings for Joseph, but it's a possibility since she knows where he is hiding.
