I got mine 3 days ago and so far it's impressive.(exactly the same package, but fluid metal color) It's no race car by any means, in fact my old 2018 hyundai accent had better acceleration and stuff. This thing is so comfortable and buttery smooth unlike the accent. And the features are amazing and all works very well. I hope the transmission proves reliable because I plan on keeping my elantra sel for many years to come.

I bought a 2021 Preferred (middle model like yours without the digital dash etc); and they only had 2 red and 2 black .. one being the really dirty demo model. So at the last moment - the colour I said only dopes buy 😅 - I got the black as it pulled in the black wheels I was not understanding as "nice" and the grill was less obvious to me. As a tip - I have had very good success with the Turtle Wax Ceramic BLACK POLISH (not the wax). I try to do it in the spring and then fall if I can time it before it gets too cold - down low I do not even buff it well as I want it thick for the winter. Then I use that "yellow label" wax version for a bi-weekly refresh ever 2 or 3 weeks during the summer. BTW - in this market the car does not get the dual heat - but they add the leather HEATED wheel and leather shifter in trade because of our winters I would wager - I believe the tech package here though is identical now.
Hey man I owe a 2000 3G and I was wondering if I could get some help on sum. I am replacing my exhaust and the O2 sensor that is located after the cat is scaring me a bit. I want to know if you have one still and or is it needed. I've done extensive research and everyone is giving me dif answers. I am completely replacing my exhaust system and I would like to know if I will be good to not have that single O2 sensor on the exhaust
I’m 29 and all I’ve owned was Hyundais since I was a teen other than one Kia that just got totaled because of an attempted theft. And now my dream car this exact Hyundai Elantra I will not get because of this trend. Bye to the entire brand. I feel like kias and Hyundais will eventually go out of business because these thieves do no care about updates. My car was attempted to be stolen and it still was a total loss because of the interior damage. Smh

You’ll have a check engine light on if all 02 sensors are not hooked up properly

Mines an SEL with convenience package and I’ve gotten up to 48.5 on the highway but average around 43-44mpg
