In Pudukkottai the booth officer refused to give Chalange Vote. There is also Tender Vote if somebody had cast your vote.

I remember that when your vote was casted by someone else before you go for voting. In such case, a ballot paper will be given to you that is called challenge vote. If your name is not in list itself, you are not allowed to vote. In case, your name in list but you don't have voter I card, you are allowed to vote on proof of your identity
It’s not called challenge vote but it’s called Tender Vote and kept in a separate sealed cover but now with EVMs which practice is followed have no clue as I am referring to vote during Ballot paper era , A person will be allowed to vote but if he insists he can vote but such votes were kept in separate sealed cover , challenge vote when identity of a person is challenged by the polling agent

Low turnout is definitely a concern. The argument that it is about Modi is exactly the callousness and laziness reflected by the cadres on the ground. Brand Modi will surely help, but ground work needs to be there to get out the vote. The individual who is representing the constituency cannot simply put it on brand modi to get away with things. They need to mobilize and show up. I think the low turnout in the phase 1 is partially a result of that and BJP should reset and mobilize
