Yet I haven't heard about the model car producer Holland Oto - but no miracle as it seems they only offer scaled Dutch buses and coaches. The actual name of the bus seems to be the Ebusco 3.0 if I got it right. Never seen this brand over here in South West Germany - I can only remember about some VDL buses over here and some decades ago Bova was also selling some coaches.
Eastern European and Soviet vehicles always fascinated me. Now that I have time, more than ever. Imagine that bus, five speeds to reach 40 kph and double clutch. That driver better have a good set of knees!
This is another new company. Not sure how long they will last. They claim the bus can last 25 years (when EU laws mandate 7 year use) so we've all seen startups come up with crazy numbers, but, the batteries under the bus will help with how it handles. I just dont like lithium ions near me lol. Also, to me it makes no sense when you can have a trolleybus with no batteries. But, its very much like a Van Hool A300 series, that the trailer is not the drive axle, so its a puller, with I imagine steering wheels on the trailer, like the new Van Hools. I think they ran as a demo down by you TJoe. It was an AG300 articulated one, back in the early 2000s if I recall. It was somewhere down in Florida. I did find that AC Transit in Oakland CA. So maybe I was thinking of them lol
ABC bus in Orlando is a big Van Hool dealership in Orlando. So yes, Van Hool motorcoaches are very popular among the private sector, and their city transit demos make their way down here pretty often. I have no idea why we are investing in electric buses when electric rubber-tired trolleybuses would be so much reliable. Write that book. I want a signed copy.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 lol. Id have to set the time for it... At least the first edition wouldn't cover anything and would be a photo style book, with photos I have taken of some of the oddities. But ABC was great. I worked with them trying to find a 23mm fitting for my bus! lol
