Those were shockers because Denmark is very gay friendly, and very chill and relaxed. And young people, regardless of nation, are generally very accepting of gays, especially in Northern Europe.

The comment "where were you in life at 18" seems ignorant to me. I was living my life, also doing sports, studying and having a great time. Then i worked my butt off and now feeling as a success. Great economy, wife and so on. So whats your point? We achieved the same thing, feeling successful but he did it at an earlier age while i didnt make a fool out of myself in world media along the way.
Having a strong mentality is not the same as being good at tennis. Thinking like a bigot and having an unstoppable urge to shout it out whenever things dont go your way is maybe a strength to you but its weakness to me.

Having your life together and being a huge talent and in the top 100 as an 18 yearl old, are two very different measuring sticks - I would say he has you beat by a long shot. And has to contend with a whole set of different rules and dificulties than you. One being, that he is being watched by media - I guess you were not, and therefore not held to the same standards as he.
I hope you are not as dishonest as to suggest, that you were one of gods best children when you were his age. That you never acted out, or acted immaturely. Therefore it seems weird to hold him to a different standard than yourself.

No, a strong mentality is not the same as being good at tennis, but it sure as hell is part of it - Like with most sports, you can get far with the right mentality, and even limited talent. However Holger has both.
