    These springs are lighter than the stock springs but they are also longer. This gives you more room to adjust the front "silent" cross over ring and control the heavier lower spring while, at the same time make the ride even more smooth and plush than the stock spring ever could. With correct spring rates front and rear as well as silent cross over rings to engage the lower springs.
    They allow you to run the cross over rings higher on the shock which lets you feel the softer combined spring rate longer for a more plush ride. Since the lower springs only come into play in the biggest hits you can run harder and faster than you ever could have before without bottoming out. This is the ultimate in smooth ride while still sacrificing nothing in the big hits.

    Installed these on my xp41000 non turbos and love them. Never been a better ride, thanks.

    Would it be better to just remove the mud guard in your case instead of putting it on backwards? It seems like a mud trap instead of a guard in that configuration.

    2 questions for you:
    1) Are you supposed to measure the ride height with the rig loaded with all your normal riding gear, including passengers, tools, cooler etc.
    2) Do you need to adjust that cross-over part when fine tuning the ride height after initial setup

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Question 1: Yes. Set the ride height for the machine with driver in machine and vehicle loaded with your usual gear.
      Question 2: Yes. Make your adjustments to the 'Cross-over Nut' once your ride height is set.

    Is it that simple to put back on shocks?

    I love how the machine has torque specs for every bolt yet my machine come from factory with at least 3 dozen loose bolts🤦‍♂️ had we bot gone over it when it got home the thing would have fallen apart in no time

    Do you have compress shocks or do anything to put them back

    To whom every may venture down the road to installing springs on there rzr don't believe the bs that those little spring compression tools are actually going to work. I didn't even get one complete and the whole tool twisted and is now completely junk. It also did not compress the spring far enough as I had to use a ratchet strap to finish the last three quarters of a inch. Very dissatisfied.

    How did the ride change? Is it Worth the money?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The ride is definitely stiffer. More control at mid to high speed. Less bottoming compared to stock. Glides through woops a lot better than stock springs. The spring kit is absolutely worth the money!

      Rocky Mountain ATV MC and it seems that RZR needs to put better shocks to begin with

      We sell two different Shock Therapy kits. One will work for XP 1000's from 2014 to 2016 and the other will work for years 2017 to 2019. You can check them both out here:

      I’ve already purchased this and installed, on my buddies 2015 rzr xp 1000. The rear preload collar setting of 2.5 inches didn’t even tighten the retainer to the shock. Everything is still completely loose

    How can they charge over a thousand dollars for some springs!?? What a joke.

    • @milo9429
      @milo9429 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you have obviously never tried to purchase springs let alone purchase multiple sets and go through the hassle of installing and trying multiple sets.

    • @SVTsupercharged
      @SVTsupercharged 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Miles Batchelor Wtf are you talking about? My comment was about the price of the Springs being over a thousand dollars, not the installation.

    • @milo9429
      @milo9429 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, as am I. It really is a fair price for the 8 springs you get that are hand chosen based on what type of riding you do, where you ride, weight of your utv, added weight of your utv. If you had to figure all that out for yourself, you would be buying multiple sets of springs and going through the hassle of install multiple times.

    • @SVTsupercharged
      @SVTsupercharged 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Miles Batchelor Performance wise a thousand dollars in Springs compared to the stock units isn’t worth it. The difference is so subtle that every day riders aren’t going to feel a difference. On the other hand if you had the shocks re valved and re built that’s an entirely different story. These springs are not based off your weight, riding style etc...the company doesn’t custom make you springs. What are you smoking?

    • @max7143
      @max7143 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The price is $849. That is worth it depending on who actually makes the springs. I respung my Rock Buggy and paid about that for only springs.
      The real question is, why didn't Polaris use those springs to begin with.

    Which lift are you using to raise the RZR off the floor?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lift is a Tusk brand prototype. We are expecting to make it available for purchase in about 90 days.
