- this is a local buddy who has run a yard and a business parting out mopars, unfortunately the land he has been leasing for decades has been sold and he needs to liquidate everything in the yard. yup its a fire sale...if you see something you like hit up Doug Schneider @ 702-274-7642
Much respect for the seller. He knows there are lots of useable pieces with value but his prices are very low. I believe he loves the Mopars and just wants them to be saved and not crushed. By saved I mean parts going on to other cars. Although there are some cars worth saving. Everyone needs to pass this video onto other Mopar guys. Don't let them be crushed. I'm a Chevy guy but it hurts to hear the word "crushed" for any classic vehicle. I just texted a buddy of mine that's Mopar to the bone. If he decides to go, I'm bumming a ride with him.
He's a man obviously in need of money and wants to squeeze every dollar out possible. Scrap metal is down and basically worthless if it doesn't include a complete car for weight. He wanted what was it 200 for the grill alone and for scrap it might be worth a dollar.
If he truly wanted to save all that stuff for someone else to use he'd be selling all of it at scrap metal prices.
Jesus. Way to screw a guy. He’s offering WAY below fair market for good sheet metal and you’re cheering for the crusher.
@@scottr9900 whatever doesn't sell will be going to the crusher. He should be selling it all for scrap metal price before the crusher gets their hands on it and that way it would definitely be saved.
I'm right there with ya'. I'm a Mopar guy, but a lover of all American classics and would hate to see anything crushed that could be saved. I've got friends who are GM and Ford guys and we respect each others rides.

That RT rear clip is a good deal at 500 bucks. I think you should buy that Chris for your project. Pair it with you front clip and sell the project.

Those are the most reasonable prices I have ever heard out of him. He must be done with the business.. I have known Doug for close to 20 years. Funny thing is, I recognise some of the cars in the yard from many years ago!! lol...
I remember Doug years ago when the MATS first started in Las Vegas and got invited after the show to his yard to buy some stuff. I bought a set of 1970 A-body hood scoops and my pal bought a 1974 Challenger bulge hood and we strapped that sucker to the trunklid of a 1969 Swinger convertible and drove back to San Jose, CA with it acting like a giant airfoil! trat times. Good luck on the sale.
It so cool you put this out there, my local mopar yard in Pueblo crushed out this summer. I grabbed what I could but they had to make room for new inventory and the land is getting too valuable.
I really hope that most of this stuff finds a home: Once it goes to the crusher it is gone forever!
I used to help a friend out who had to get rid of his entire junkyard. He sold a ton of good but crusty oldies fo good money. But at the end there is so much extremely rare stuff that gets crushed.
Even parts of Italian sports cars of the rare kind.

It amazes me just how nice and unrusty western cars are....unlike here, where they put salt down on the roads at winter and rust away everything. Dang Salt. Great Video!
Chris u should buy that 1971 charger R/T rear clip once its gone its gone expecially, if u have the car u could use it for. Even if u get it and sell car a better selling point to someone else. I would buy cars but, I live in New york and shipping would be not worth all the $. I need a couple a-body floor and frame rail's for $200 ea car dam

😢 I really hope somebody gets most of these as much as I’m not a “mopar no car”type guy cars like this have a special place in multiple generations of enthusiasts and eventually like these all the cars from decades past will reach this point to where they damn close to extinction 😢

Lot of good deals if you are in Vegas or close by- otherwise the shipping to anywhere out of the area is a deal killer.
I had a guy pull inyo my shop with a slat six dart with the rod hanging out the bliock and it would stll start blew my mind that it would still run with the rod slaping in and out of the block

I saw a lot of cut up bodies for $200 that the crusher can have. Some of the other stuff might be worth saving but really when you have a floor pan and front frame rails left it doesn't matter if it was a slant six auto convertible or a 440-4 spd!
You obviously are not aware the cost of metal it takes to restore a car when you can have a clean donor to cut from for a measly $100 🤦♂️

Give mark Worman a call from graveyard carz he's a Mopar god he should buy alot of stuff off you especially if he knows it's going to be crushed it breaks my heart to see these cars going to waste there obviously in a good dry environment in Las Vegas so there should be a lot of good body shells
I would be surprised if he would find anything in there interesting. From what i see on his videos, he has a good collection of much better stuff in his yard.
Judging from all he has in cars and garage equipment, he has done very well for himself or maybe, got very lucky with $$ at some point.
Not a big fan of his stupid sense of humor tho.
