If we already had a job does this help in registration.like they demand for experience and nowdays they send for refresh rogrammes to students who have 5 years gap in their study.if wi find a job then apply for registration.?

Sa tingin ko po, dapat po teaching degree if you aim to become a registered teacher in nz. I hope I answered that right. Sa license, hindi naman po sya requirement pero isa sya sa evidence na pwede mo isubmit as a teacher, ang experience ang isa sa pinaka-importante. 3 years.
Hello mam. Graduate ako ng BS NURSING at RN po ako. pero nagtake ako ng 18 units ng prof ed and licensed teacher dn po ako. Graduate na dn ako mam ng MAED. pwede po kaya ako magteacher jan sa new zealand kahit hindi educ ang bachelors degree ko? may 4 yrs akong teaching experience sa high school at 3 yrs sa college. sana po mapansin nyo. Yung ginawa ko is nagsesend ako ng mga application through Education Gazette (gazette.education.govt.nz/vacancies/). Nagrereply ang employers and since wala pa ako teacher's registration nun from Teaching Council, in-advice muna nila ako na isecure ang registration tapos if okay na they can offer the job. So ayun, nagplano na ako magprocess ng teacher's registration ko, timing naman na yung friend ko, need nila ng teacher sa centre nila, ni-refer nya ako and sabi lang sakin if mapasa ko lahat, i-offer nya job sakin. Then yun na, finally napasa ko naman from PTE to NZQA to registration. 2. Sa visa nyo po, paano niyo po nai process? What type of visa po? -DIY process po. In my case, I chose Skilled Migrant Category visa. 3. Nagprocess po ba kayo ng visa after maka secure ng job offer? -Yes, after the job offer. 4. Tutulong po ba ang employer po sa mga requirements po ng visa application? -Yes. In my case, sobrang bait ng employer ko. 5. @Lordiel Miasco That's what you need to ask your employer if they are willing to wait. Pero if you have an employer na and open na ulit ang NZ, mas mabuti mag working visa muna. Kasi kagaya ko naabutan ng lockdown dahil nga matagal ang processing ng SMC compared sa ESV(Essential Skills Visa). Pero of course, I am not a legal adviser, that's just based on my experience po pero ideally working visa talaga muna.

Hi Precious. Thanks for subscribing. 😊 If your school is not on the exempted list, you need IQA. Discretionary pathway is for those that can't meet the requirements for teacher's registration, for example, yung Iqa mo is not comparable to the initial teacher education. For overseas teachers, basically, if okay na language test mo, iqa, experience etc, no need to undergo discretionary pathway as what I understand from their website. I sent some applications to various schools and I was also referred by my friend. Yes its possible to get a job offer po kahit Phils ka pa.😊

Based on my experience, I sent some applications while I was processing my teacher's registration. I always include in my email / cover letters that I was currently processing my registration. 😊 some employers will give you time for you to process your registration but not all.

Discretionary pathway is for those that can't meet the requirements for teacher's registration, for example, yung Iqa mo is not comparable to the initial teacher education. For overseas teachers, basically, if okay na language test mo, iqa, experience etc, no need to undergo discretionary pathway as what I understand from their website. I sent some applications to various schools and I was also referred by my friend. Yes its possible to get a job offer po kahit Phils ka pa.😊

Based on my experience, I sent some applications while I was processing my teacher's registration. I always include in my email / cover letters that I was currently processing my registration. 😊 some employers will give you time for you to process your registration but not all.
