I feel sorry for liam because it's much harder for boys to admit that they are being bullied

This is truly awful. I had people in school who would walk past me see me alone in my form rooms at break times and laugh at me because i was alone. But this is truly heartbreaking for Liam.

How many more storylines or accounts of real bullying do we need for people to stop saying the victim needs to stand up for themselves?
Are we forgetting on top of being ganged up on by several boys, his former friend being too weak to stand against the bullying but join in. Liams had threats on his life so it'sno wonder he's scared to speak out. He's mentally been terrorised so we need to stop victim blaming.
Standing up for yourself is the only option. He tried snitching it clearly didn't work. He gotta be careful how he stands up for himself cos of him carrying a weapon. Kids like mason think they are hard until they get a punch to the mouth and only issue with kids like mason is if their ego is damaged they'll go on a rampage
There's more than just Mason who is already bigger than him. He tries to fight back and he's outnumbered by lads who've threatened to kill him

Corrie shoukd copy Brookside with the Ray Quinn storyline where the little kid was lured into the woods by the girl bully and a fight happened and the nasty girl ended up dead. It was so heartbreaking. ❤😢

I mean no offence to anybody, but I think it far more likely Mason would choose to bully Dylan because, well lets be honest about it, in the real world Dylan would be tormented for having such a mincing father. Why is it that teachers are hardly ever around when a student is being bullied? Not only them but the headmaster and headmistress as well. All useless.
But they are there when they stand up for themselves
But teachers often defend the bully if the other kid speaks up
Because they have a thousand jobs to do per day. Planning, teaching, marking, lunchtime duties, after school clubs etc. Good teachers will pick up on a students body language or behaviour but unless a student comes to them. It’s very hard to do something about it. Plus many students being bullied won’t come forward for fear of being seen as ‘weak’ or for fear of the situation escalating further.

There was a short period when he was the one bullied (stole his trainers), but it switched back to Liam. He is a worm for joining in now, when initially he didn't, but just stood there.
