A continuation from the last comment, they go outside almost everyday and get FRESH grass and weeds. We live in WA meaning they do have to be inside during the cold but they almost get a diet of grass/weeds/and some store greens
That is not a fraction of enough light. Please research the amount of uvb light your tortoise needs. The entire tub should be flooded with uvb light 12 hours a day.

And it needs fresh grasses and hays, not grocery store salad. I hate seeing people get a pet and have no idea how to care for it.

They get outside UVB almost everday, We are very aware about the levels of UVB. Thank you for being concerned though!
