Thanks Darlene, i just picked up the Gelatos and was looking for a bit of basic instruction...Fun that I was also reminded of the Liquid Applique product...hadn't thought about it in a long while!
I just bought Gelatos and your video was the first one I watched and I loved it. You do a great job with using time wisely (ff through it was great!) And your ideas made me feel inspired!
Wow, Darlene, I really enjoyed this video and the card is gorgeous! Absolutely loved what you did with laying down the color and then clear embossing over it, that is genious! And you thought you didn't have any ideas? Whew, what a cool look, I want to try this method myself. I see you use the Distress Ink Color Tool to lay down your colors, and I have been freaking out with the "daubers". DUH! I need to do that, it seems like better control, and I'm used to it with the Distress Inks!
Thank you so much for doing this video. I recently discovered gelatos, and really wondered what the heck they are, and you did a WONDERFUL job on explaining what they are and how to use them. Thanks :)
great video! in the start the grass stamp, what was the flower stamp on the back? I kinda looked like cone flower stamp, what the name of that one? thank for sharing.😀💜
+Tammy Degrasse Hi Tammy. It's part of the same Inspired by Nature set by Stampin' Up!. Unfortunately it's retired, but you might be able to find it on eBay.
MsTassjaTV: they are kind of like oil pastels - they go on like lipstick. If you visit my blog, I have a link to a place you can buy them. Thank you for the nice comment. :)
Darlene DeVries Oh --- duh?! haha I'm kinda new to this, I wasn't aware of the products you are using. Was this an embossing product you used...clear 'something or another'.... The learning process is always a bit of a setback.. LOL
Love the simple look and easy technique. I am always looking for new ways to use products so thank you for sharing your technique with us!
You ARE terrific at explaining. I love how you did this video. I have Gelatos and had no idea what to do with them until today. Thanks!

Love how you created the background Darlene! great video
Love the embossing tip (about coloring a little first so it's not stark white). Totally scraplifting that idea!
Love the card. awesome background. I have that same grass stamp so I may have to give it a try.
What a beautiful card. I love how you did your background, I'm going to have to try that. TFS.

Darlene, can you say why you did not use the gelatos for the background, and do the resist first....will it work both ways
They dry pretty well - no need to seal it.
Hi, Do you have the name of the grass stamp? I am looking for one like that, thanks

Nice video! I do not have a grass stamp, do you think that a versamark pen would work by drawing grass over the ink? Thank you
sooo pretty!
Spectacular!
So creative!...thankyou!
beautiful!
Very nice!! Thanks for sharing :)
What kind of stamp pads and applicator did you use at the beginning, and how did it blend so easily? Was the page prepped?
The page was not prepped. I used an ink foam applicator. You can click the link in the description for stamp pad details.
Where will I get these products? the tape, then the yellow gel you used in the end???
Snigdha Jarin Follow the link in the description for a list of supplies.

Hi. Love the card but confused about the "Gelatos." I thought Gelatos were like crayons and this looks like stamp pads???
+Spacey OStacy I used stamp pads for the background, gelatos for the flowers.
thats....brilliant! I can watch this for hours!
Did I miss a step...how did you get the grass to be like a resist?
Hi Juliana. It's in the first 90 seconds of the video.
Darlene DeVries Oh --- duh?! haha I'm kinda new to this, I wasn't aware of the products you are using. Was this an embossing product you used...clear 'something or another'.... The learning process is always a bit of a setback.. LOL
