I had a classroom without windows and went crazy not knowing what was happening in the great outdoors! Florida has been banning books straight across the curriculum 😢. Every classroom needs to have a Bible! Florida has gone off the rails on education.

It’s funny how families seem to all be in the same field. I have a lot of relatives in the medical field. I am a RN, my sister is a Physical Therapist, my niece is a Pharmacist and my sister in law is a dietitian. I have many cousins on both sides of my family who are nurses and in fact, my niece who just graduated from high school is going into nursing. I do however, have a niece who is attending college for teaching. She wants to teach special Education. She has been working the last 2 years in the summer being a one on one helper with a special education summer program for special needs kids. She loves it.
I always had a love hate relationship with starting back to school when I was teaching. I love the excitement of getting the room ready for my kids and incorporating new things, but I hated that doing so was marking the ending of summer vacation.

Remember the separation of church and state. What if you’re not a Christian? If it’s a catholic school that’s different.
I don’t agree with the crosses. But, there should be an American flag and students should pledge allegiance to the flag. Like we did in school.

We change classes every 90 minutes. I have four groups per day. Students come back August 12 teachers will return August 5.
Here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 school doesn't start until September.
