3rd day on OJI and I had a fever. Had to call in sick and guess what! They told me it won’t look good after your 90 days, so it’s best I quit! I was deviated! You’re stories inspires me. Hope all is ok with you

I was working about 60 hours a week, sometimes 7 days a week. I normally get 1 day off a week now. I actually got switched to the 8 hour list because of my surgery and even though it is stressful in some ways, it is a nice break. I hope all goes well for you too pretty!!
I have the same question about the hours you get. I have 2 small kids and really wouldnt want to work 7 days a week ans not be able to spend much time with them
I have a month as a CCA in Stockton CA and I’ve been pushing myself so so hard working 10 hour days with one day off only and it’s just insane because it’s so hard I really have tried so hard I don’t even take my breaks because I want to finish but everyday it seems like I fail because they send other carriers to get the rest of my mail ... and then people always call in so I get all that load on my working day in top of my route .. I really need to think about it I know everyone says it gets easier but I don’t know if I can see myself working 50-60 hours a week for the rest of my life :( it’s a great place to work but it’s actually hard for me :(
Had to turn down the CCA offer I received bc I got an offer for the sheriffs office. I feel bad bc the postmaster was such a nice guy :( I also was looking forward to the job but I couldn’t pass up the sheriffs office

Hi Dear, I got the CCA job offer, and going to the 4 days training tomorrow. But i don't very know if i want going this job or not? I am going to part time college right now. I don't very thing this job will give me any time for my school. what do you think i should do?
Have my first OJT today at 9am full of so many questions after academy,lol. Casing wasnt bad walking was a breeze and mounted wasnt bad. 90% of my post office is mounted. Looks like parcels will take some work and I don’t understand the forward n UBBM shit. Im sure it will come in time. Def taking a lot of notes lol. How is everything going? I was so confused to man, but I caught on. I am pretty sure I mess some stuff up still, but we learn more every day. My office is HUGE (compared to others in my area) and we have so many routes to learn. I personally prefer the walking routes over the mounted ones right now. Just make sure to use the load tool on your scanner on mounted so that when you are riding along you can look ahead at packages and know which one is next and for which house. It made my life so much easier!

Fingers crossed you get regular by a year. I'm only 29 with 3 boys but for personal reasons I've been trying to get a hysterectomy before I leave my current job but looks like I'll have to wait. I've already accepted the job offer and completed the background and drug test but haven't got the call yet. It's been 2 weeks since then. Always looking forward to your videos💕
Thank you so much for checking me out! The thing that sucks is that with this job being new, I don't get FMLA for 12 months. I have been there since 4/1/19. So that means that I won't get paid for the 6 weeks I'll be off besides the week I have earned until this point which is around 40 hours.

So why is the post master ignoring my emails and text. Can someone explain if this is something they are going through and what did you do to get an answer about the job. Accepted the offer and cleared everthing. HR told me to contact postmaster cuz I'm clear on their end. Smh..
In my area there was a hiring freeze. I heard that it was because they are almost done with the new contract with the union. They lifted the freeze in our area because we were short handed. Hang in there. I hope you have heard something by now. I wish they would at least give you an update.

I average 48-52 hours a week. I’m concerned about not being able to make ends meet as I support a family of five. I have to be able to have 40 plus hours a week if I get to be a CCA . At my current job I have no vacation or benefits. Would this job be worth it.
Sebrina Bridenstine once you become a regular you will be set. You just have to be a CCA first. I work 48-60 hours per week. (Right now 48 because I’m on restrictions)

But i like your videos and hope you post more up soon. :)
Keep in mind too that I HEAR that there may be a hiring freeze in some areas. They are trying to reach a deal for the Letter Carriers contract. In my district, Kentuckiana, they lifted the hold because we are so freaking short staffed.
Yay! Your right, I got an email that their checking my driving record. I looked at my application status and one says Selection List the other Pre hire list . I'm excited I hope I passed the driving background. Keeping my fingers crossed
I applied for cca and I'm ready to start orientation but never had an interview. I wonder why they did that or are interviews only for other positions?
Thank god I found your channel! Just applied for CCA and MHA. Took both 475 and 474 assessments and passed. My 475 score is higher than my other but also felt like MHA is more for me. Really hoping I get MHA after doing more research. Looking forward to more of your videos! Wishing you good luck with your surgery!

You should get an email from HR in a few days or weeks requesting an interview.
