When omni 796 cc is a 8 seater, no one blamed it. But when triber allows 7 and 1.0 modern engine, people start to blame. Typical mentality
Engine is not refined even when new and lacks power. A turbo petrol engine is totally possible because Renault already has a turbo petrol engine in same price range.

You are absolutely right, even the people responding to you will never buy this car. The Indian customer loves to REVIEW everything without actually buying it. For the people who really need this, it’s perfect ! I can really see small families doing long trips in this comfortably. 99% of commenters will never buy this vehicles or even test ride it, they just here to spread hate to justify why they won’t (can’t) buy this. This is on is like the Tata nano, it’s again aimed at the wrong Indian folk. If you say “cheap” seven seater automatically tier 4 city folk who can’t afford it will jump on to put it down. This is a sadly the mentality of Indians, they love to put down something that’s cheap even when they can’t afford it.
Market it towards a young couple with a child or two who wants to go camping on the weekend, take their dog, take their bicycles (my purpose) and then drive to work comfortably during the week. Take it shopping, take it to the airport to pickup your relatives! It’s a perfect family car alternative to let’s say a small hatch back or compact SUV. Nothing comes close to the space it can give you at this price. 7 seater - 7 seater is a stupid reasoning to buy this. Think of taking 4 people on a long trip very comfortably with all their luggage and equipment for a good holiday where taking luggage in a plane or train isn’t feasible. This is aimed at the urban do it all consumer and you will now see it being used exactly for that. It’s basically a big practical, good looking wagon -r

It's a superb, comfortable, value for money car. Engine does great job at full 7 seats even at high climbs. Proud owner with a review after 5k mileage.. Good video!

I too have this car, an AMT RXZ and think it is awesome. All those who are sceptical about it are owls. Brighter the blinder. Their concerns stem from the single misconception that a manufacture cannot deliver so much without compromises.
This car is such a straight shooter. The dealer during the test drive made sure that we understood, the wheels were not alloy, the cladding was a sticker & that the rear bumper was black. Reno on the other hand promotes the car only as a 7 seater hatch and not a MPV.
I liked this approach which was new.
I’ve noticed people who buy this vehicle are much more smarter and mature than the average Indian. It’s targeted to people who will really use it practically, much like the wagon r or tats nano etc.

Bada engine daalne se engine compartment bada hoga jisse cabin mai space compromise ho jayega, so only option for more power is to add a turbo to this existing 1 ltr. engine..
I had RXL... Overall is good package... As my experience, body roll is biggest issue, tyre size 185/70 R14 can be provide instead of 165/80 R14. It's good car for below 120kmph. Power is not a big issue even on full load.
How much mileage you are getting?
17-18kmpl at highway....13-15kmpl city
Body roll has more to do with the height of the vehicle than the tire size. You’ll need active suspension like in a Mercedes if you want to go against physics

8.57 shocker noice, I also felt in my Triber AMT. Informed to service center guys during 1st servicing. They told they have tighten nuts but it still continues.. Renault should look into it to resolve..

In simple words, its a very well engineered family or business car perfect for people on a certain buget. Safety wise, i dont see any difference with baleno or swift. If safety and driving pleasure is top priority, go for ford 6 airbag cars.

I might end up buying this car after watching this review. My dad got hip arthroplasty done a few months back so now he can't travel by hatchback because of the low seating height . I am looking for compact-suv but budget is in the range of 7-8L. Options are Venue-S, Triber-xt.
Please suggest if any other better options available considering the constraints.
Venue's suspensions are too hard.
Now you can consider Kiger, which is in the same price range of Triber and is a compact SUV. Also you'll have an option for turbo engine.

Apart from build quality every thing is good in this car .....1000 CC is enough for 80% indian even 800 CC van was most selling car of India In rural as well urban area with full load .in India only 10% roa are there where you will cross 80 kmph

Hello... Even I have a Renault Triber RXZ. Had purchased it in 1st week of December 2019. My 1st car was Renault Kwid RXT (1st generation), so I knew about power lag issues I faced in Kwid with A/c on. But there is no Power Lag in Triber with both front and rear a/c on. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

@@nagarajxyz decent experience, I had first service on 2000 km, mileage 16 till now I hv observed at a stretch of 40 km driving, till now not drove on highway. But I hope with this experience on highway will get 17-18 if drove at 80-90 speed.

@@Shri9946 average is about 25 with AC and pick up and power is negligible less as compare to petrol which not even noticeable as these new kit are tune by computer .Tomasetto OBD kit .. vibration and noise of egine is lower down which is obvious due to CNG high octane number...

RXL is most value for money model with all necessary features. After accessories I think car looks bulky and attractive. For 6 people I would definitely recommend. U can expect min 16 avg and max would be 19.
