Now, that's a dino I can get behind! For personal preferences my heart still belongs to the pachyrhinosaurus but, man, this sino is incredible! A detail I really like, sculpt wise, is the layered look of the beak, really sells the idea of a sturdy, keratinous material, really life-like!
I can't help thinking that the gloss touches look like water, either rain or river / lake water; that thought is reinforced with the glossy blue on the feet; I actually really like that, it makes me think of the wading and resting habits of hippos, rhinos or elephants

Body paint is easily the best I’ve seen from PNSO-no haphazard noodle stripes to detract. Agree, the glossy head is a thumbs down along with the sloppy eyes.
Second thought, are there any US sellers of this product? Dan's states that you pay and must wait weeks which tells me they are a middle man and have no real stock to ship. Any body know of a seller with actual stock that can ship in days rather than weeks?
That's exactly how Dan's works. Still a great, reliable place to get them if you ask me. The only other place I can think of would be Amazon, but for them to actually have them in stock(not sold through pnso themselves) sometimes takes months of waiting. So by the time they might get them, you'd probably already have your order from Dan's for quite awhile. Unfortunately as far as I know, there is no other United States shops that stock them.
I've been buying all my PNSO, and Nanmu's dinosaurs (about 15-18) at aliexpress. The miragaia tooks about 2 weeks and a half to arrive. But other tales about 3-6 weeks for the most. To Mexico.
It's not bad overall, but I feel it is a pretty lackluster figure for PNSO. The eyes bother me...not painted very well. Plus...the eyes should be the glossiest part of the face.
Your glowing review is flawed. With the exception of the eyes and inside of the mouth, there should be no gloss on these animals. When was the last time you saw a large animal that had glossy feet and head? The gloss is overspray from being mass produced. They are also very sloppy in painting the nails, again, overspray from being g mass produced. I love the sculpting and design, but your review of these flaws makes me wonder if you actually pay for these or if you get them discounted or free.
The colouration on the frill is absolutely beautiful! Definitely the best Sinoceratops figure currently on the market imo

Andy do u think that giving it a matt varnish could fix the glossyness on the face?
I would definitely think so. Wouldn't hurt to try it, though I'd use a gloss coat afterwards on the eye to help bring it back to life.
