The best Myanmar language training I have ever had.
I started learning from your videos in Feb 2019 to prep myself for a Burmese wedding. I stopped learning Burmese from then till September because now I am living in Yangon. Well I want to express how grateful I am to you for learning Burmese from your videos. I practice at work and with my house nanny. Thank you!
Glad to hear that my lessons have been a part of your life in Yangon> :-)
Thank you so much for all your work! The videos have helped me revise the basics after a long hiatus. The lessons are easy to follow but dense enough to stay interesting.
Thank you so much Kenneth...follow your next VTR.
Thanks 4 ur very mature video.
Minglabar Sayar... find this episode very challenging indeed. Keq deh. Wil not give up, but wil persevere...am contemplating visiting Burma for a 2nd time yr end. Fell in love wt Burma😍
Oh, I'm so glad to hear it -- I mean, glad that you fell in love with the country. Not glad that you are having a difficult time with this lesson. :-) This is complex, but with practice, you'll get better.
Minglabar Sayar... Noted. Chi zhu ah mia jhi tin ba deh😏
Btw... had started wearing the Burmese Traditional Clothes "Ain Jee/Htamein" I bought fr Yangon whenever I go to the Burmese Temple in Penang, Malaysia. Feeling So Blessed, Sayar...😏
How do say in Burmese "Feeling So Blessed"... much appreciated indeed Sayar😏
Thank you so much Kenneth!! I have been wanting to learn this part and I couldn't find anyone to teach me. Thank you so much for teaching!! Really appreciate it.
မဂၤလာပါ ဆရာမ😊 ေက်းဇူးအမ်ားႀကီးတင္ပါတယ္
Greetings from Singapore
Glad I was able to help you from abroad. :-)
Kenneth Wong By the way, I recently heard a song lyrics with the phrase "ေနမယ္" May I know what does this mean? 😊
It depends on the verb that comes before it. For example, အၿမဲခ်စ္ေနမယ္။ means "I will always love you." အၿမဲသတိရေနမယ္။ means "I will always remember you." The speaker uses the in-progress form to suggest the love or memory will persist.
Kenneth Wong Oh I see. Thank you so much!! :)
Thank you! i'm able to learn Burmese with your videos! Appreciate it!
Glad you're finding them useful for your study. :-) I'm always curious why someone wants to study Burmese, if you don't mind.
In my case, my girl is from Myanmar and i want to know her better. :)
BTW, I'm planning to visit Myanmar next year.
In that case, this episode on Love might be a suitable one for you. :-) th-cam.com/video/tyEapIWDiwc/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, i've watched all your videos tho. :)
ေကာင္းတယ္သင္တာ
jyzutimbade amiaji.😎😀
And how can I say ( Do you want me to buy a movie ticket?)
One option is to use the auxiliary verb "pay" to signal that you're offering to do a favor. In this case, "Yoke shin let hmut wae pay ya ma lar" (Shall I buy you a movie ticket?") will work. For more, please watch this lesson. th-cam.com/video/VbBo0iM8HGs/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, Mr. Wong😀🙏
