    Bro, I almost jumped out go my chair just now🤯 I went to backtest in market replay... fast forwarded to 14 DEC on NQ. Marked out Midnight and 08:30, right at the 9:25 candle I put an entry at C.E. of the 08:15 wick and Stoploss below the 13 DEC 1515 5min BISI. I set the TP at the London High (04:00 5 min candle)
    TP was SHASHED in 2 candles for a STRESS FREE 2.96R!!!😱 The it went to the midnight opening price for a 3.78R and even up to a 6.21R before even showing any signs of retracing😭
    with about a 1.6% risk, this could have easily been a funded challenge smashed in one trade. Bless you and you WILL be hearing from me in the future and given credit for simplifying something that I had already looked into before4 but didn't put in enough effort to see how simply it really makes things. I'm going to subscribe and watch all your videos 😬🥳

  • @geekone6621

    So, interesting discussion, and I understand the focus being on the 0:00 and 8:30 opens... But, the conflicts between the two Opens, Dealing Range, and Displacement Ranges, for actual high probable entries can be tough to seperate. If your point is to use the Opening Prices as a sort of bias or magnet, in spite of conflicting with Dealing Range and Displacement Range Premium areas, then you are basically saying Open Prices trump conflicts with other Price Action. If not, then, are you saying that ALL of these items should be in confluence AND then if a tight decision, possibly let the Open Prices push or BIAS the decision one way or another? Thanks for the great videos!

    • @TTrades_edu
      @TTrades_edu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you're going a little too deeply into it.
      Sell day - want to sell over midnight or 8:30 open
      buy day - want to buy below midnight or 8:30 open
      price coming back into the range, I will target it along with PD arrays and Liquidity in the form of highs and lows

    • @geekone6621
      @geekone6621 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TTrades_edu I think that was pretty clear and the video was good. My question was, doing that, it sometimes has you taking a long in a premium range or a short in a discount range … So, that seems like a conflict ? Just curious if we should ignore the conflict and go with Open Price per the video, or wait until there is a confluence … Thanks !

    • @NTXChris
      @NTXChris ปีที่แล้ว

      @@geekone6621 My understanding is that Midnight Open price the algo considers it at fair value. Above midnight is premium and below is discount....obviously. I also use the New York Open to filter premium and discount. Today is a good example on NQ for 10/3/2023. During London Killzone price traded above Midnight open price(premium) to take out relatively equal highs then sold off. Price retraced back up into the hourly breaker block which was below Midnight Open, but above New York Open(premium). I used to take longs in premium or shorts in discount and always had a losing trade. I would also take into consideration which killzone you are trading. If London I would expect to buy or sell below or above Midnight Open. If trading New York, I would like to buy or sell above or below NYO at the very least. If it price somehow manages to retrace back to midnight open price then I would engage in price appropriately depending on the profile developing between Asia, London and New York sessions. I may be off in my explanation, however internalizing it like that definitely helps me.

      Might be different for FX. I mean 8:30 EST before equities open. It’s when the news embargo lifts

    For London Killzone, we use only midnight open (00:00) ? Sell above buy bellow. Or also 8:30 from previous day ? BCS yo show trades only during NY

    • @TTrades_edu

      i only use 8:30 from current day

  • @geraldjohnfernandez

    why 8:30 and not 7:00? NY Killzone starts at 7:00 right and CME opens at 9:30. so why 8:30?

    Great video. Had a question: It seems like once it breaks above or below the 8:30 and midnight opens, it often retests and breaks again multiple times. How do you avoid the fake-outs? In other words, how do you time your entries optimally? For example your Day 2 trade. Thanks!

      It’s a confluence to a draw on liquidity and bias. I personally don’t use it aloe me

    Good Morning 🌄 #great video as always #THANK YOU
    I know you trade Futures but this works for options as well I have a question I noticed for #SPY that yesterday Dec 7th and today Dec 8th that there was #NO midnight timestamp (12:00) it #jumped from 11:45 pm to 12:15 am🤔
    Are you able to elaborate on this have you seen this happen before🤔

      @@TTrades_edu good afternoon first and foremost I hope you're feeling better no 15 min which is what was told to us by ICT mentorship 2022 to look for 0:00 and 8:30
      Truly odd that for two days in a row now there is no midnight for Spy on 15 min chart.
      Guess what I just looked on the 30-minute chart and 0.00 Is there 🤔
      What I did was I wrote down the numbers for 12:15 a.m. and they are identical to the 30-minute 12:00 a.m. chart🤷🏾‍♀️
