Additionally the school district also hit his school with a 3-4 year athletic probation across all sports. Pretty much this means that if someone else from this school does a similar thing in any sport then that specific team will be forced to shut their program down for the year. This guy was banned from all high school sports for the rest of the season (which sucks cause he was a senior who had offers for both football and wrestling) and caught an assault charge.

My experience in Highschool was out of control. The school was corrupt. A stepbrother moved in, at the small town I'm from, just to play highschool football. He was three years older, and he ruined my experience there. He had a different last name, but he went by my last name while living there. The football team was pretty good for a short while. But we were made targets.
The coaches were having us hit in practice full boar running from thirty yards apart. And we did hit full boar head on. And I had been hit in the head before getting jumped. I had to quit, to save my brain. I think I really am injured for life from that period.
Not ever do I wake without pure anger and hatred for what I endured.
I really can't move forward in life.
All I can think of is revenge. The coaches still belittle stare me down.
I have no respect for highschool football at all.

Attacking an old man with his back turned to you, and then running away when you are in trouble. What a brave act of cowardice

"The player in question is a star athlete for Edinburgh High School, he lost control and slammed a referee to the ground after getting a pair of personal fouls."
The player in question WAS a star athlete. They can take a gold star off from beside your name at school. True story.

I don't think he needs arrested. Unless there was real bad damage to the ref. Court ordered anger management agree with. Football career probably over. But I wouldn't kick him out of school. All your going to have is another future criminal if do all that.
