Reminds me of my current situation. I bought a 94 b150 for 2k 2 years ago. So far, I've spent nearly 10k rebuilding and replacing the whole thing. It runs like a dream now. Love it!

That's dedication! You'll get a lot of miles out of that!

@fourthgear8199 yup! I do fishing trips from Dallas to Galveston twice a month. Zero issues.

Not that I'm lazy. I just Don't want to do anything in regards to my rig.
    I'll hire it done.

I agree, that's why I opted to have it done, sometimes peace of mind especially when traveling means having a professional do it, especially on a vehicle I just acquired and you don't know its condition.

I have a 1988 Chevy G30 6.2 Diesel ex US Air Force truck with under 30K miles on it that I want to use for camping. I've put about 10K into it ! I'm sometimes sorry I ever touched it 😮

Yes, it can be daunting but if you compare the price of a newer RV it's hard to get into anything for less than $75K and all of a sudden spending $10-$15K on something doesn't seem so bad. RV'ing and vanlife are expensive habits, sad to say! Good luck with your rig, it sounds like it'll be amazing!
