If Volkswagen employees watched this video, they would understand why their executive board decided to close some of their factories. German auto-makers are not even competitors anymore because the following are all better: the quality both in materials and driving experience, the design, the insane amount of tech and last but not least the price which is so low that it’s probably lower than the cost of production of one German car with half the quality. But it shouldn’t be a surprise because almost everything on a large scale in the world is being manufactured in China at an unfathomable competitive price.
The reason the EU and USA are putting tariffs on Chinese cars isn't because of government subsidies by the Chinese government, it's because their cars are just too good. Energy prices make a huge difference to how cost effectively China can manufacture cars. Their energy is about one sixth the cost it is in Germany.
@@captainwin6333 I agree. But also the bureaucracy in the west is killing everything…in order to change how things work, it takes forever or even sometimes it looks impossible because of over-regulation of everything outside the companies but also decision making inside the companies themselves. In Germany, the cost of gas is really high because of Russia-Ukraine war, I can understand. But how does that impact the US energy cost? I heard western manufacturers say “let’s focus on high-quality and expensive products instead of low-quality cheap products (like China)”. Well, maybe that would have worked if the quality was actually higher, but it’s not. Chinese manufacturers and even their government, came to understand and master the art of making things cheaper, because that’s literally how their economy grew (hence the subsidies). E.g: when everyone ignored the African market and thought it’s a place to loot raw materials and that’s it, China was selling cheap products there, giving financial gifts to their own expense to court the leaders and the people there and investing in infrastructure there. By the time most of the African population will be in middle class, China will have a huge part of the market there and the raw materials from there as well, which will make their products always cheaper than others.
@@frankt6994 Sadly the new ones are not as good. My first S Class Mercedes was a 1989 it was perfect. My 2nd a 1994, then 1998 they were all maxing until 2002 and that was not so good, then 2012 and that was so bad I gave it away as it was not economical to fix all the electrical problems with it.
Well done simulation!!! Anyway, congrats! Upride to the highway looked like seemless but dagnerous as taken w/o consideration of cross traffic. The same all the way long to the parking slot. And, one roundabout was taken wrong way out according the marks on the street. Ahyhow, for this level it' absolutelly emazing I'd say. I'm curious when the guys are going to add therecognition of cross traffic and I'd say there we are! Good luck from engineering point of view!
or they improve the suspension/damping or they improve the streets because that vibrates a lot, but the car is very nice and its technology far surpasses tesla

Over 300,000 vehicles equipped with Huawei's Intelligent Driving ADS system are already on the roads in China.
Shall we talk about the roundabout that the car is taking the wrong way around?
It was the facility roundabout so the car most likely thinking "I own this place so I will take shortcuts"
Before the car took the wrong way, she kept saying "you drive" at least 20 times
It can handle roundabouts now after the latest update released this month.

nah, that vibration is due to neither the street nor the suspension, just the loose mounting of the gopro.
