    I enjoy the input of this man. He’s proud of his tools and knows some stuff. Really enjoy hearing what he thinks about the tools he has. These are the customers that Gearwrench should be listening to, when looking for feedback on their products.

    Mate we dont need that many but as a mechanic we all seem to get obsessed with our tools

    Thank for the insight on Gearwrench. I found a set of Gearwrench ratcheting combination wrenches on the side of a forest road last year in a roll up. I have mostly Wright's, but I was impressed by the qualify. I dropped them off at the district office.

    thats funny dr come in with a harborfreight stethoscope i would be skeptical😂i'm also a do it yourselfer more of a tool collector because i just basically do car maintenance, now that i'm able to afford high end tools i have made a few snap on sk purchases nothing crazy though but i pretty much have all tool brands because i like to try different things,only reason i don't do a tool box tour is because i can't talk behind a camera very well i've tried though.

    I couldn't stop being even more impressed at those stickers on the drawer liners. Never thought it would look that good. Where does anyone even get an assortment of different sticker tool brands like that? Even a Kobalt one, cmon man tell me

    What brand is that extra long flex head on the far right side of the drawer?

    For $100 bucks you can buy a gearweench 3/8" and 1/4" socket set with 2 comfort grip ratchets.

      83001 is the 106 PC set, 3/8 and 1/4....HD had it and I paid either $109 or $119. Maybe 3 or 4 months ago.

      @marioj3766 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, it's a great set for the money. Had to buy the 1/2 in ratchet full price for $50 but it's all good, still worth it.

    Why do you have so many ratchets ?
    Why most mechanics have so many ratchets ?

    • @w33dj0602
      @w33dj0602  ปีที่แล้ว

      First off I collect a few like the soft handle duralast just because they don’t make them anymore and secondly for different applications you may need a long straight handle you may need a flex handle you may break one and don’t have time to replace it right then but you’ll need at least 10 different ratchets if you in this field and the rest you’ll acquire over time as the technology of them change the old ones outdated and you’ll just keep them

    • @w33dj0602
      @w33dj0602  ปีที่แล้ว

      As for a diyer you’ll just need 3 or 4 1/4 3/8 1/2 maybe a spare 3/8 because it’s the most common type but you can never have too many tools especially different ones

      Hey you can chuck a extension in a drill and run the ratchet in reverse to break it in be sure to clean it afterwards

  • @toddthomas4542
    @toddthomas4542 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you did just buy one snap on ratchet, your box will be full of snap on tools there that much better

    • @w33dj0602
      @w33dj0602  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like your point… but as for me I doubt it …I’ve used snap on products and I just don’t see enough difference for the price snap on charges now back in the 80s when you didn’t get a warranty on the lesser brands yeah snap on was where you needed to go but now with these other brands life time warranty I rather go the cheaper route

    • @w33dj0602
      @w33dj0602  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like snap on and if I had to use them everyday I probably would but just using them on the weekends nah too expensive
