"All Quiet on the Western Front" is a fantastic book. While we do learn quite a lot about the First World War here in North America, we usually only get the Entente version of it, which is why Remarque's book is such a breath of fresh air. "Goodbye to All That" is very similar although it is very much a retelling of Captain Graves' experiences in the trenches, it would compliment "All Quiet on the Western Front" very nicely
Great job Ben - are you planning to do more book reviews??
I did read FirstWorldWar books like "All Quiet on the Western Front". But it seems to me that "Goodbye to All That" is also worth reading.
