Everyone's commenting on how awesome the song is, which is totally true, but I gotta mention how fantastically put together this whole video is. A lot of youtube videos playing a full opening or ending song only have the song and then pick one or two images to show during, which is fine, but this uploader actually intertwined the original ending footage with a bunch of snippets from parts of the series that correspond to the lyrics, giving it a wonderful emotional impact, and reading the meaning of the lyrics on the screen just brought it all together. I just came to listen to a beautiful song, and basically got a beautiful AMV instead. This was awesome :)

And with being someone online at manga, with knowing Hinata’s evolution, looking at back, to the times Hinata doing face-receives it gives me more chills. Thank you Furudate Haruichi-sama.
After watching Haikyuu I've been listening to this song for over a year now. In this moment of my life I find myself with a drive paralleled w/ Hinata. Of course, it was not like this before. I had to willingly go through fire and beat myself up to become this sword. And I'm not even that sharp yet. Nonetheless, every time I read these lyrics, my eyes brighten up, my fingertips tingle, and I get goosebumps. Why? Because I am a Climber. And I search for that feeling, that moment, that will open my eyes. I search for it wherever I go; at the gym, when I'm running, studying, socializing, programming. I do not know where exactly it is, but I have seen glimpses of that summit, and my fingertips have withheld them for just a few seconds. My minds and these lungs barely ever let me grasp that moment, and whenever I do get near it, I push away again. To keep climbing. But one day I want one good look... if the climb took all of me, I want one good look at that summit, and finally open my eyes.
Haikyuu seems to have a totally different place in my heart. Recently I've been watching and reading AoT and only a few deaths made my teary eyed and now i come back to hear this song because i found myself humming this earlier and it didn't even take a second for me to tear up. I just love Haikyuu more than any other story I've read or seen. No deaths, nothing. Just simple realism of life. Failure and then trying to overcome it. Shame on each of those people who speak ill of Haikyuu just because it's "an anime on Volleyball"
As someone who judged Haikyuu because its an anime about Volleyball 🏐 I am ashamed of judging it before watching the series.Currently watching season 2 and it's been awesome

the manga has ended since such a long time but here i am stuck in an infinite loop listening to these songs sobbing my heart for no reason. haikyuu entered my life at the end of 9th grade last year and thankfully at a good time too. its wasnt just hinata but kei, kuroo and sakusa heck all of them that forced me to grit my teeth and give my all to everything. thats the thing with haikyuu you never feel like youre watching anime or manga since furudate sensei in making the characters so real
