Love these beautiful Big rigs like the F600 4wd. The newer trucks these days are way overpriced. Why not instead save these durable old iron giants and put newer aluminum service bodies or mechanics bodies, even flatbeds on them. Or to go a step further, newer wrecker bodies or used remount ambulance or RV bodies on them. The cost savings on yearly insurance and taxes will definitely be a bonus. Plus engines can be swapped and repaired easier, even ir pulling an old RV engine to put in them with a heavy-duty cam. Thankfully these old beasts are serviceable still at parts stores and random junkyards. And welding skills to repair AND modify are and added bonus. One can't do that on these newer trucks & cars.
That's very true. A 4x4 service truck like this would be awesome! 😃 I've got a '59 International 2ton 4x4 I'm planning to make a wrecker on my channel. Hi,i believe i do like watching people rescue and work on these old vehicles... thats a cool yeller truck, i like how you got it on and off the role back without showing it really . NOT! But thats ok ill forgive yah. I guess i like to see the process of stuff.,not just watching from afar.
Machines working ,winches grinding,the one reason i subscribed was what you said and say at the end of all your videos ,you know. Well now i need to go do some.🙂

@@HODGEPODGEDODGEGARAGE I like (from what I have seen so far) you videos are clean - I like to watch videos of restoration projects with my 2 sons and not all channels are clean enough to do that. I like old trucks - but most of what I tinker on is old Sears garden tractors and recently I started restoring a Stuck mini dozer... keep up the good work!

ok cool. i'm trying to rehabilitate a 1968 F500 that's been parked for several years. it's got a 300 inline six cylinder engine and a covered utility bed with a sliding roof.

What a find Zane! What was that truck used for with those huge tires? Is that a pro driven winch on front? Looks like you have some good parts to build the ultimate recovery rig. Got my gears turning at all the possibilities there....

Love your content, but you might want to consider putting the camera on time lapse when you load and unload vehicles on the rollback. Kinda boring watching a truck essentially sitting still for 4 minutes lol. That's got to be the slowest winch ever mounted on a truck.
Oh yeah, I've learned from that mistake! 🤣 The winch is slow but it's pulled everything I've hooked it to. I usually do a time lapse anymore. Thanks for the view and comment. Have a nice weekend 🔧🔩

Put a snatch block on that it's a bumper that truck is pulling up tired of dead end to the back of your truck I probably would have pulled that truck up there
