      jajaja you think its all about using a protein? both have merit, jajaja try eating healthy and train everyday,he trains for body control not for muscle growth as you can see ,the results are different but you bust your ass for both my friend.

      you dont understand how hard it is to get that bulky and still not be fat, takes hard dedication. Also let me educate you that consuming protein powder is just a supplement for not having enough protein through regular means, you know nothing

    Good form. A pleasure to watch a full extension of the arms and then raising your chin above the bar for each rep. Even more praiseworthy was your refusing to count that last rep just shy of getting your chin over the bar. Bravo.

    tazio i have a question, how can be possible that you have a body with so little hypertrophy while you are so strong, i was thiking that strenght and muscle mass were exctremely correlated.

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  7 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Gabriele Murgia Well, I have never trained and eaten in order to gain mass...hypertrophy and strength aren't necessarily correlated. And probably my genetics helps too.

      Essenzialmente le lascio a penzoloni perchè rimangano sotto la perpendicolare del baricentro, gli addominali sono contratti. Perchè tu dove le metti? le raccogli al bacino o le pieghi all'indietro?

    Nel senso, per le mono braccio dedichi dei microcicli continui alla forza massimale, e poi per le prestazioni fortemente lattacide come questa dedichi un altro "Blocco" o in settimana alleni entrambi gli stimoli?

    Hey Tazio,
    You suggested many times to train weighted pull ups in order to do more pull ups but how often do you train like this in a week ? And what kind of workout do you have ? I mean you aim for how many set and how many reps in a session ? How many sessions a day ? Thank you

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Steven...training every 60/72 hours, 4/6 sets and 3/4 reps each. This usually works for everyone at every level...could change because of your attitude or if you want to train for other things meanwhile

    • @sburps
      @sburps 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tazio Il Biondo Thank you for your reply ! You also said that for your diet you ate more carbohydrates and less proteins. I was wondering why ? Aren't protein that helps you to build muscle and recover so to become stronger ?

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I consulted university textbooks, they say you have to eat a lot of carbohydrates rather than protein to have good health. And I think that good health is the right way to a good performance. This is the reason why I eat so.

    @tassoo23 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Amazing! How would you train to increase number of pull ups? I am preparing for competition now, but it will be a bit harder because there is a dead stop at the bottom.

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      easiest way are weighted pull ups...and you could also train on hanging...are hanging rests permitted in that competition?

    • @tassoo23
      @tassoo23 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, hanging rests are permitted with deadstop, minimal I would say 1 sec or judge has to tap your body. Weighted pull ups for higher numbers with lighter weight?

I stick to pasta, beef 200 grams, and high fruit and veges although lately ive been lazy and not eating enough veges which are essential as no doubt you know. also I avoid, tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, (coke, energy drinks lol, coffee) antibiotics, which I read blocks the uptake of essential vitamin and minerals. tommorow more veges for sure. 😐

      That's interesting. I'm currently training to build some size but just using pull-ups, dips, push-ups and squats. I've been stalling for some time no matter how I adjusted, but seeing you are far stronger and have far more endurance than me at your size it's pretty telling that I probably reached my limit. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

    Why are you doing wide grips? These just make it harder for you. Title should be 48 wide grip pull ups, if you used a closer grip, you could have done more.

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Guinness form means also wide grip...because when you want to do many pull ups in a short time (fastets records) your chin must be as near as possible at the bar. Probably with a closer grip I can do some reps more...but it will take longer because distance chin-bar

  • @moutafidhs1994
    @moutafidhs1994 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is a perfect example of size=strength is incorrect..Most often than not strength to muscle ratio is wrong! That's why built 250 lbs men can't even do 10 pull ups..They have very low strength for their size..Take for a example a squat freak and a footballer...
    The chances are the footballer will lift more in squat even tho he never squats and is smaller and his legs are smaller..
    Or take into account some very skinny guys that can lift cars..

    • @jakemccoy

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      a Guinness record for "most pull ups in a minute in a row" doesn't exist...there is just "most pull up in a minute" which is 50....but he got it with 4 rests....very bad to in my opinion!

      c'è, mi sa che basta che lo cerchi in youtube con "guinness most pull ups in one minute"....bella cazzata comunque...poggia i piedi a terra e stacca le mani volte nell'arco del minuto, per riposarsi qualche secondo e poi riprendere. Così facendo ne ha fatte 50, penso riposandosi per la prima volta a 40! Qui sopra io ne ho fatte 48 di fila.....
