3 peppers for 1 pound ($6) - so peppers cost her $2 each in England. One pepper in Australia cost her $3.. it’s not that different lol.
Also don’t know where she is shopping but at Woolworths you can get one red pepper for 98 cents or 5 for $3.00!!

Equivalent of a Freddy Frog in Australia is a Freddo Frog…. A Caramello Koala is nothing like a Freddo. You can get almost every type of chocolate that is available in either place.

Not only is fruit seasonal, there have also been occasions where other impacts such as fire, floods, or crop diseases which have greatly impacted prices as well.

With regards to renting property in Sydney, the maximum legal bond cannot be more than four weeks rent. A landlord or agent can request a tenant pays rent up to 2 weeks in advance, but no more. A landlord or agent cannot ask for further rent payments until all paid rent has been used. So you pay two weeks rent, and you don't have to pay again for another two weeks. Source - Fair Trading New South Wales. Her video is a bit old, but I don't think anything has changed since then.

The fruit and veg is seasonal so when its off season stuff will be very expensive but when they are in season they get cheap 🙂

That's part of growing up, leaving and then appreciating your family! Everyone has to do it! 🤨 It's your life experiences, your turn to learn and grow and be an adult, it's essential! You knew that Sydney would be expensive, it's not a secret!! 🥴 Yes, love the public transport, take a scenic trip, it's safe and cheap!

Seasonal Fruit depends on the availability. Alcohol - you hit the registered clubs if you are in NSW & get a cheap drink / feed too. Had a young bloke on his gap year who came here for a year to work. Week 1 we hit 24c & he was complaining about the heat. We hit 28c that week & he was panicking about it being too hot LOL.

Also if she's complaining about flies in Sydney, then she better not go to a farm or to the outback - literal swarms of flies.
Same with the job search - of course Sydney is super crammed with people looking for jobs - all the tourists go there!

Free WiFi/internet is not really a thing in Aus. Most people have a data plan with their phone and use it as a hotspot. And when you're paying for a home or business connection, you really need to know what you really want or need, because each ISP and plan is different. If you want to upload videos or large files you need to look for plans that are tailored to this, as most consumers only download.

@@zalired8925 there are a lot of Adelaide videos done but they are generally never shown by people like Neal or Ryan was ..I literally watch their videos on Australia every single day and there is so much info that's really wrong.. like when cost of rentals or price of goods is talked of...and you see Neal sort of shocked at times but he doesn't like a lot of reaction video guys understand that it's only representative of places like Sydney...I've lived in every major Australian city and have spent 10 years going around Australia so I've got a great knowledge of what's really what,it's like last week on TH-cam it was said by one girl you can't get a rental under $600 in NSW and especially the blue mountains yet I then get on realty pages and found 10 rental properties in the blue mountains between $300 and $450 and they were all 3 and 4 bedroom houses ..I am currently paying $125 a week for a 2 bedroom unit in Adelaide with a massive backyard and enclosed 2 car parking space...everything from the price of food to the distances between cities .. example Neal has 1 video he reacted to on the distances between cities and straight away it was ...the distance and a map shown of Sydney to Perth.. Adelaide was simply bypassed and not even mentioned...yet who even drives that distance besides retired folks...you would just fly...and yet Adelaide is only 1 hour 20 minutes to Melbourne flight time and Sydney is 1hr 50 minutes flight time from Melbourne...the beaches are generally better in Adelaide...Bondi is just a name...I use to frequent Bondi and it's a small half moon beach yet the name made it famous...the cost of everything is cheaper in Adelaide and to compare say Adelaide and Melbourne for something like cleanliness...get on the Williamstown beach line and go through Footscray and the whole way it's rubbish, graffiti as is every alleyway in Melbourne and I also frequented youth projects in hosier lane for 7 years. .it's so popular because in other cities graffiti is frowned On..Richmond is a druggie hole and at Kilda beach is pure sewerage...Adelaide is a touch boring but the nicest city to live in ...the price of things is lower and then general videos where alcohol or smokes if your a smoker us wrong as is the constant narrative of it always being hot. .south Australia is actually known for being the hottest state during summer but we get 6 months of winter with 13-16 degree temps and plenty of rain.. there is so much wrong information...Brighton is really nice and is part of that beautiful stretch of beach like surfers paradise down to Coolangatta...it's so similar...Melbourne and Sydney don't have stretches like that with beautiful golden sand...

Yes man! YOU ARE CORRECT! I didn’t agree with her about nearly everything. Even the Transport thing - hell! Haven’t been on the train for awhile BUT - From Gold Coast to Brisbane return - that was around $20 (over 20) - I dunno - the car (not parking) is cheaper than the train.

  • @lynnejamieson2063

I think she proved herself to be rather ignorant when she spoke of England and then used a map of the UK (England takes up around half of the UK’s landmass) to illustrate her point. If in her lifetime she has been unable to grasp the borders of the country she had lived in for most of her life, she cannot be expected to comprehend anything about any other country.
