Historical inaccuracy in campaign Gun with misplaced parts/attachments Because Activision will get sued over their guns because they don’t use real name on guns
not to mention: Iraqi army not only uses the out-of-place SA80, CETME Model L, Grendel R31, Mossberg 500, USP, and FN MAG, but also somehow has access to experimental or Special Forces only Soviet weapons, like the PU-21, Gepard PDW, and AEK-973
I understand manufacturers defending copyright to some extent, but I feel like at least any guns formally adopted by real world militaries should be allowed to be depicted with their original specs and names because it is literally a fact that such guns are adopted and used on Earth. Calling an MP5 the “Lachmann Sub” will NOT bring about world peace.
@@cobaltcardsgaming5982They're not defending their copyright though. Copyright refers exclusively to physical reproduction of a copyrighted object to infringe on the copyright holder's market share, which is totally physically impossible. Their actual claim is that the precise shape and configuration of the gun constitutes a Trademarked image, like a brand name, and that Activision is falsely representing them and their brand identity. Which is also complete bull but a well bribed judge or a particularly tech illiterate one might say different and spark a massive legal debate. So they settle instead.
Your character actually doesn't hold it in center axis relock stance. The way Paul Castle taught it, is that your thumbs have to be pressed together. All your character is doing is just holding it at a slight angle.
The Hand cannon's slide is slimmer, is a full slide, and the compensator moves with it, so the cannon is (mechanically) actually more of a LAR Grizzly MK V / P220 amalgam with notes of desert eagle in the grip and trigger design. However i would rather see the Grizzly as an actual equippable weapon rather than a killstreak anyway. Maybe with caliber conversions
Im most disappointed in the AEK gun in BO6 because in battlefield 4 the AEK was an absolute beast of a gun and the fire rate was like 800 or 900 plus Full Auto

Surprised that stupid optic that's basically a scope ring mount with a piece of glass in it didn't get mentioned, as far as I'm aware no one had turned a scooe ring for a magnified optic into its own optic ever
To be fair, it is more than a scope ring with glass, it has a rear protrusion which would presumably have housing for the led etc. and it seems to depict some dubious controls.
@@atomic... The first point contradicts itself, and as for the second, it does not have those adjustment screws. It has a strange box shaped housing on the left 'wing' with adjustments for presumably windage and elevation. The scope ring is a single monolithic piece surrounding an insert/lens. Honestly, it looks more fitting in the theme of this game as more of a bulky/odd red dot compared to the selection of far more modern micro red dots that most people use in the game...
I'm pretty sure the reason that we don't have AKM or any other AK in 7,62 is because of Warzone since they have guns from MW2, MW3 and BO6 now so they don't really want the same guns... Like MP5 is this weird monster to be different, and we don't get 1911 IN A BLACK OPS GAME. Gotta love how Warzone keeps constantly killing the soul that was left of this franchise.
Another thing that bugs the hell out of me is there’s a perk called “Full Metal Jacket” which grants your rounds extra penetration which is weird because you can clearly see in the inspect animations every bullet in the game is FMJ already
On the subject of the Swat 5.56 firing bursts without releasing the trigger: I believe this is actually a QOL change, and not a representation of the gun's trigger mechanism. Most, if not all semi-automatic, pump-action, bolt-action, and burst-fire weapons in BO6 will continue firing if you hold down the trigger, with the downside of it being that it shoots less frequently than if you were to manually hold and release the trigger repeatedly.
Treyarch have made it apparent that they don't care as much about authenticity, at least the MW games don't have to worry so much about period accurate weapons even if they're named like goldeneye guns. Also check your volume settings in your editing software, there's about a 5db difference in the start of the video vs the end.
I'm so happy you mention the fact that Acti just isn't allowed to make 1:1 replicas of these guns, its a good thing to inform these fans who seem to be mad for Acti for simply wanting to avoid lawsuits!
The CETME Model L has an open rear sight in the game instead of an aperture sight. The shape of the front sight post is also slightly different. All of the barrels except the default one and gain-twist barrel are missing the bayonet lug. The default barrel also has the mount for the sling swivel but is missing the ring, which isn't really a big deal considering slings aren't even used ingame. The rail mount used for optics in game does not exist and they should have used the Model LV or LV/S rail instead. Other than these, the gun's model is remarkably accurate to the real thing in comparison to all the other guns in game. As for the MP5, the default handguard is based on the first gen CETME L handguards (same as the CHF barrel for the CETME L) and the gain-twist and reinforced barrel are inspired by the regular CETME L handguard. With that and the stock in mind, my guess is that their idea was that they would make the MP5 a derivative of the CETME rifles rather than the HK rifles in real life.
Frankly, some cool gameplay mechanics that could fit with this. Make the SiG 553 and AK74 able to be converted into to take 7.62 at the cost of increased recoil. The Bradely Firing Port Mod can also be equipped to the M4. Removing the sock, cranking the firerate up a ludicrous degree, and equipping it with a 100 round C-mag. Do note that its recoil is obscene, its one of the highest DPS weapons in the game, if you can actually hit anything with it. Would likely become a fast favorite in Zombies. Mainly because when PaP'ed it would have a unqiue effect. The M4 could also host a 3round burst mod, that decreases recoil. The burst weapons that can fire full-auto gain acess to their fully automatic firemodes. The G3 is added to the Game, with the ability to be turned into a semi-auto sniper in the PSG. Able to feed from a belt as the HK13, as an LMG. Notably, one attachment makes the barrel much shorter. Making the ADS, sprint-to-fire and swap speed much quick. But has the unique downside of the muzzle-flash is absolutely massive, greatly obstructing the ADS visibility. Combine it with the LMG conversion turn it into a full-auto flashbang dispenser, ensuring that nobody sees anything. It can also have its ammo type changed on the LMG and assualt rifle Vairants.
Standard makarovs had eight rounds, modernized versions had 12 rounds, but actually interestingly enough were typically released with 10 round magazines
About the SG550 ejection problem: The operator actually inserted the round straight into the chamber not unlike how in EFT in an emergency it is a feature if you pick up a gun with no magazine.
Good video, but a small problem. Your voiceover is competing with the gun sounds in the background, making viewing experience jarring. I suggest adapting you script to include a pause after each discussion point. This can also act as a segway/intermission to the next point.
Also, the Ak74 model has this weird extra sling attachment point on the side of the reicever, as well as the standard sling mount on the barrel, I have no idea why they did that.
Thank you for pointing out the actual reason why these guns are inaccurate. So many people keep blaming California gun laws and as someone who lives here it’s infuriating.
It’s partially California. Paid partnerships with gun manufacturers in video games could be construed as marketing guns to minors, which is illegal in California. Call of Duty used to have paid partnerships with Remington, Barrett, and several others.
@@Adam-zi5sewhich is funny because the only reason they had those partnerships was to avoid SLAP suits. Legally they never had to do that as it violates no copyright or trademark laws.
Eh.. Not quite... The XM4 has always used the A1 lower and upper so it was full auto all along till the actual development of the M4 began around 1994. Yes, there's the burst M4 but it wasn't the XM4. It came way later on during the development of the XM4. So in a sense, both are developed at the same time but the auto variant stuck on and was what SOCOM wanted thus it became the norm which would later become the M4A1 in 1994. The flat-top variants didn't really appear in general service till right before 2002 which all had changed to the A4-style top but A1 bottom.
- And... No. The AK-mag SIG isn't from the 556 but from the 553R. It is indeed anachronistic as the rifle was still introduced to the market in iirc 2008 but still, wrong rifle mentioned. The 556 is just the civi version of the 550 but it was the 553R that brought the AK-mag SIG 1st. - ... What? The Goblin isn't the RAL but it's the Australian attempt to bullpup the L1A1 which they called it the RMC No.2. The game version is pretty close to the irl prototype but it's just that the game took the Krig/FN FNC front end and slapped it on the gun from the front handguard to the barrel. - The M203 is indeed the LMT variant.
1:55 If Treyarch didn't use the m4 style GL compatible barrel, it would make a perfect "Israeli carbine" which would not only be perfect for the time period (tho still used today), but also correct from the fire mode standpoint and many more problems coming from the "XM4" designation
I legit hate how we got a cursed bulpup FAL instead of getting a real FAL as at least a semi-auto marksman rifle like the L1A1 and give the slot to a FAMAS, which is sorely missed. Also you mentioned the FNC and they added it as the Krig C with the Season 1 Battle Pass! Seems pretty accurate and it's probably one of the better ARs in the game.
Something to note when it comes to ammo sizes. I pretty sure when they change the amount of ammo in a magazine it’s more of a balance change than an actual oversight by the devs.
Multi billion dollar company still wants $70 for a game when they can’t even iron out the most minor of details while they mainly reskin the game. I’m so very proud of everyone who helps keep these less than mediocre businesses open
I'm OK with slight anachronisms, like maybe 2-3 years. But red dot sights on a flat top AR-15 carbine in Vietnam in BO1, or holographic sights on AKs in Cold War is just ridiculous.
The SIG and the XM$ being swapped with each other's functions is hilarious. And it doesnt make sense that the Goblin is even in the AR category. should be a marksman rifle.
still is a peak game, i know half of these Magazine options are due to balancing issues, i do hope they soon give us a correct ammo count for the next game
I understand some countries sperg out if guns are named after their real life counterparts but not even getting caliber or function correct is atrocious.
A small correction on the sig 556 or what its called. Yes he drops the round in leaves the gun sideways so the bullet will sit on the other side of the upper allowing the round to be grabbed and moved into battery. Should you do this? No but would the bullet just fall out of the gun if you did it? Also no
Yes, he mentions that the barrel is from an FNC but otherwise it's that Aussie prototype, he's talking about how In-Game the gun is based on the RAL by the way it's built
For any aviation enthusiasts, the god awful A6 frankenstein monster thing is awful, as well as what im guessing is supposed to be an F-117 (with afterburners??)

Iraqi army not only uses the out-of-place SA80, CETME Model L, Grendel R31, Mossberg 500, USP, and FN MAG, but also somehow has access to experimental or Special Forces only Soviet weapons, like the PU-21, Gepard PDW, and AEK-973

The hand cannon should've been a first Gen deagle or an automag
Your character actually doesn't hold it in center axis relock stance.
The way Paul Castle taught it, is that your thumbs have to be pressed together. All your character is doing is just holding it at a slight angle.
Naa.
Thank u sm for makimg this video, ive noticed so many things wrong with these guns and i absolutely hate them. Especially the 5.56 rifle with Ak mags, smh
Fun fact about cod the us government pays them to make the guns as realistic as possible to make soldiers learn weapons faster
Surprised that stupid optic that's basically a scope ring mount with a piece of glass in it didn't get mentioned, as far as I'm aware no one had turned a scooe ring for a magnified optic into its own optic ever
it's on part 1
Ah right. Thanks for pointing that out .
To be fair, it is more than a scope ring with glass, it has a rear protrusion which would presumably have housing for the led etc. and it seems to depict some dubious controls.
Yee it is more then that, but it is still a scope ring with a bit of glass in it, pretty sure it also has the two screws in it that tighten the ring
I would like to think that these aren’t inaccuracies but these are the firearms standard in a alternative(fictional) timeline.
@@LHWGT07 at least
Exactly
I'm pretty sure the reason that we don't have AKM or any other AK in 7,62 is because of Warzone since they have guns from MW2, MW3 and BO6 now so they don't really want the same guns... Like MP5 is this weird monster to be different, and we don't get 1911 IN A BLACK OPS GAME. Gotta love how Warzone keeps constantly killing the soul that was left of this franchise.
I'm surprised they didn't call the PP019 "the bullfrog" by some stupid reason 😂
Because it's not the same weapon from Cold War
Another thing that bugs the hell out of me is there’s a perk called “Full Metal Jacket” which grants your rounds extra penetration which is weird because you can clearly see in the inspect animations every bullet in the game is FMJ already
I thought MwII's HK94 was a downgrade from MW19's MP5A3. turn out Treyarch make it even worse with C9 as hybrid of Model L and HK94......
I really enjoy your videos and the effort you make explaining all the weapons, thanks
I'm so happy you mention the fact that Acti just isn't allowed to make 1:1 replicas of these guns, its a good thing to inform these fans who seem to be mad for Acti for simply wanting to avoid lawsuits!
That MP5 should be labeled as a war crime because of how horrendous it looks
1:49 -1:50 when you hear a sudden shift in sound volume, blowing your ears out, you know the shit it about to get real. 😮
This British person knows more about guns than the Americans who made this game.
"It looks and feels like a real MP5"
The FAL is an australian prototype.
Yes... It was the RMC No.2 as mentioned
Another thing about the AEK, in game it’s chambered in 7.62 when the IRL version, afaik, was only chambered in 5.45
that is the 971 variant, the 973 ingame is using the correct cartridge
the AEK was chambered in 7.62, 5.56 and 5.45.
971 = 5.45
972 = 5.56
973 = 7.62
Damn I thought the 971 was the only variant lol
Bro got corrected
Honestly for a Black Ops game this is pretty good
The bar is pretty low 😅
Almost every single action game and every modern COD depicts blank firing muzzle flash and sound.
Bravo sir you absolutely know your arms and armament, what an incredible display of weapon knowledge.
I see This man for The 1st time ever but ta thaa ending is already a sub
The bolt wouldn't stay locked back unless he was depressing the bolt lock but doesn't look like it is
Center Axis Relock position actually has more to do with the shooters stance being more bladed, and the pistol held closer to the body.
Standard makarovs had eight rounds, modernized versions had 12 rounds, but actually interestingly enough were typically released with 10 round magazines
using cold war music for b06 is awesome
About the SG550 ejection problem: The operator actually inserted the round straight into the chamber not unlike how in EFT in an emergency it is a feature if you pick up a gun with no magazine.
no, the bullet can be seen outside of the chamber before he releases the bolt
Good video, but a small problem. Your voiceover is competing with the gun sounds in the background, making viewing experience jarring. I suggest adapting you script to include a pause after each discussion point. This can also act as a segway/intermission to the next point.
Also, the Ak74 model has this weird extra sling attachment point on the side of the reicever, as well as the standard sling mount on the barrel, I have no idea why they did that.
You'd think that one of the biggest game companies could afford the gun rights.
CoD could have just went with the M4A1 because it was introduced in 1991 but it still would be off because it was put in service in 94
Fairly certain that polymer furniture for the AK didn't come out until like the early 2000s, and ACOGS well first invented in like 99 or something
3:26 it's funny how the same weapon in Black Ops II actually does have full auto with the select fire attachment
That mp5 stock is actually an after market stock from b&t.
2:59 *Doctor Who flashbacks*
I feel like honestly any British person that says that quote has seen Doctor Who 😂😂
What bothers me most as a Mak owner is... they literally don't have an accurate magazine. It's either 10, 8, or 6 when downscaling it.
California needs a republican governor
The Swat shouldn’t even be in the game at all. The real life gun it’s based on, the Sig SG 556, wasn’t even produced until 2007
I never did like how you held the hand guns all tactically
1:55 If Treyarch didn't use the m4 style GL compatible barrel, it would make a perfect "Israeli carbine" which would not only be perfect for the time period (tho still used today), but also correct from the fire mode standpoint and many more problems coming from the "XM4" designation
I think every game developer is becoming Bethesda in weapons.
This pretty useful information
@@FIVEBASKET apparently not all people see that
This “is”
I legit hate how we got a cursed bulpup FAL instead of getting a real FAL as at least a semi-auto marksman rifle like the L1A1 and give the slot to a FAMAS, which is sorely missed. Also you mentioned the FNC and they added it as the Krig C with the Season 1 Battle Pass! Seems pretty accurate and it's probably one of the better ARs in the game.
@7:00 actually thisz game takes place in the 90sz-2000 itsz right within the timeline but only a few years out of production!
Everything wrong with the guns are that they don’t do any damage when you fire them…
Don’t forget the goblin has 2 selector switches lol
Ahh yes, Part 2 of everything wrong with the guns in Black Ops the 6th
The SIG and the XM$ being swapped with each other's functions is hilarious.
And it doesnt make sense that the Goblin is even in the AR category. should be a marksman rifle.
The fn mag rip has the belt box right under the gun meaning there is no room for the shells to eject
Well, it sure is great that none of this matters, because it all ends up drowned out in $35 "masterwork" skins.
Why bot voice sooo familiar????
still is a peak game, i know half of these Magazine options are due to balancing issues, i do hope they soon give us a correct ammo count for the next game
The fact that shotguns have shit for range
I understand some countries sperg out if guns are named after their real life counterparts but not even getting caliber or function correct is atrocious.
Can you do a video on everything wrong with Double Action Boogaloo weapons next?
Just curious
6:09 thats an FAL but in an instragram photosh op look. The trigger group and reciever is switched.
Sig with AK magazine?! Best ar now more BESTIER!
The swat 556 has the same 3 round burst in the f2p game caliber for the SAS marksman op
4:28 They think it's a shotgun😭
A small correction on the sig 556 or what its called. Yes he drops the round in leaves the gun sideways so the bullet will sit on the other side of the upper allowing the round to be grabbed and moved into battery. Should you do this? No but would the bullet just fall out of the gun if you did it? Also no
The Goblin is based on Aussie bullpup FAL prototype.
Yes, he mentions that the barrel is from an FNC but otherwise it's that Aussie prototype, he's talking about how In-Game the gun is based on the RAL by the way it's built
Also MP-5 is actually some weird version of HK-94
one thing i noticed is the CHF barrel on empty/slide lock, has a round in the chamber.
For any aviation enthusiasts, the god awful A6 frankenstein monster thing is awful, as well as what im guessing is supposed to be an F-117 (with afterburners??)
What’s even worse than the Iraq forces having 74’s is that I’ve seen some with SA80s LIKE HUHHHH
The aek is even worse, its chambered in 7.62x39 but one of the extended mags is a 5.45x39 casket mag
8:23
The Kastov 7.62 is based on the AK-103, which was designed in 1993, which is two years after the games events.
I know, but you can convert it back to an AKM
Gabe was right
Nobody want to go buy groceries in video game
Another inaccuracies with the GPR-91 (L85A1). First that is somehow able to fire without any stoppages. Second that the rifle is not falling apart in your hands. 😂
