Nice overview. I’ve been in LA for ten years and have been visiting San Diego lately to scope it out. Definitely prefer the quality and food options in LA so far, the fun and contagious energy of LA. However, San Diego is so lovely in how much less stressful it is IMO. And San Diego seems cleaner, greener, more pristine coastline. It really is a tough choice! And it really depends on where you live and frequent in LA.

This is exactly why I'd prefer San Diego. " However, San Diego is so lovely in how much less stressful"

San Diego is more affordable than LA? Are you sure about that one... least it dont feel like it, out here in SD.

Neither city is very affordable. lol. However, I do believe Los Angeles is more expensive. (not by much)

As a former LA native, I can confirm that at least where I was at the prices where I am currently living in SD are better than la but only by a slim margin. The lack of Hevey traffic, friendly people, and a much lower crime rate are more than worth the price. Plus, SD has some of the most state-of-the-art medical facilities in the entire continental united states.
They build ENTIRE NEW HOSPITALS that focus on INDIVIDUAL DISEASES AND AILMENTS.....

perhaps overall, but at least foodwise SD seems to be more expensive than LA.

Just saw the latest real estate stats for both cities. SD has surpassed LA in housing prices, but still below Orange County.

A terrific video! Additional considerations. First, too many "attitudes" in Los Angeles. It's easier-going in San Diego which translates into fairer opportunities for everyone (tolerance and acceptance). Go to the Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Old Town to see for yourself. Bring your family and compare Old Town to Disneyland. Second, compare the scenic views of downtown Los Angeles and Marina del Rey to downtown San Diego and Coronado (not perfect but absolutely gorgeous, cleaner, and safer). Third, San Diego is going to replace Los Angeles and untrendy San Francisco as one of the premiere cities in the world to live and conduct ANY (almost) business (my bad, Los Angeles can keep Hollywood 🤪). Real estate prices and rentals in San Diego are going to skyrocket in 3 to 5 years as San Diego becomes easily recognizable as a world-class city for single adults and to raise children (families). Welcome to San Diego "FIGHTERTOWN " USA! 🎉🎉🎉

I enjoy hanging out in Old Town too. It's hard to beat living in San Diego.

I agree with this general assessment. Quick question: what does fighter town mean?

San Diego is FAR BETTER - DESPITE losing our football team (which had nothing to do with either city, but due to the outrageous greed of the Spanos family!)

I love both San Diego and LA. However, if I had to choose I'd go with San Diego too.
