  • Baby salad greens grown in a hydroponic greenhouse can arrive on your dinner plate within 24 hours of harvest. They’re healthy for you, your body and the planet.
Jess took a road trip to our sister company, Lef Farms, where we grow baby salad greens all year-round in a very high-tech system. In this system, salad greens are produced from start to finish without being touched by human hands. That's pretty cool to watch. It also means that the chances that these baby greens are recalled from store shelves due to a nasty pathogen problem are greatly reduced. So safer for you. That's pretty cool too.

Jessica, videos such as this one really make me appreciate the quality control and huge overhead required in order that we can purchase the produce at our local grocery store! Thank you; I love how you keep on teaching us!

As a vegan engineer, I’m so intrigued by an automated system like this. If I were younger, I’d love to work in this industry.
