I just re-discovered Sunday Fridays. In the past it felt too drying (on my mature very dry 57 skin) & pilled with makeup but lately I’m having better luck. I switched from a creamy moisturizer to a gel moisturizer. I think that’s helping 😊
Looks fantastic! For the life of me I cannot get the technique to extend the lash line! Maybe my eyes are just too deep set for it to work. Amusing shadow into the upper lash line has been the best tip ever -on I got from you last year. Thank you for these great videos. Hoping I can get some of those sunscreens here in 🇨🇦

Wow, it looks very natural, but this is a face full of so many products!!!!!!! For me the no makeup makeup is to make it practical, fast, jut a few products, sunscreen,concealer, blush, mascara, and yes a little eyeliner. You look very pretty, but that took as long and with as many products as regular makeup.or more 😮 I am not putting you down, this is an observation, JMO ❤
No worries about your observation. I think that's the misconception many people have about no-makeup makeup. It a look - not necessary using minimal products. As I said in the video, it takes more to achieve that look than it does with full makeup in order to do it well and have it last. Because we're older and don't have that youthful glow and bounce, often when we use less, we still have sallow undertones, dark circles, downturned eyes, shine breakthrough, and can still look tired. Concealer, blush, mascara, and eyeliner would leave me looking pale, uneven, pale, and shiny. Not to mention tired! Sounds like you start off much better than many of us do and can get away with less. Enjoy!

I'd really appreciate knowing which push liner brush and small angle brush you used for the liner you did with eyeshadow here. I know of many brands and have acquired a few, but have yet to find something that I'm really happy with.

Do you recommend the Laura Mercier concealer for dry undereyes with some fine lines or would you use a different concealer? I'm asking because in the video you said if you aren't prone to creasing then its a good concealer. I almost always crease just some concealers do it less than others. I need a new concealer and am having trouble deciding. I LOVE the pat McGrath concealer but there isnt a shade that matches me good and there is so little product in it. I was leaning toward the laura mercier one , the Lancome Effacernes , or the LYS one. But if you have a better suggestion please let me know
Hi Ashley! I always give that disclaimer because if your anatomy is such that you crease, you'll crease even with "creaseless" concealers. That's how I am and why I have to set everything. I find LM to be less drying and more skinlike than Lancome and I really like Lancome. LYS didn't have enough coverage for me but was hydrating. Huda is really nice as well!

I might just have to get the LM and Huda since I can't decide. Oh and I just got a text that Lancome is having a buy one get one free on select items with the Teint Idole concelaer being one of them. I really wish brands would make different packaging for mineral powder sunscreen. I hate the powder in a brush applicator but they are almost all like that.
I'm sure it's for the convenience for if you're on the beach and don't want to fumble with a separate container. I've not had an issue with either brand I've tried, but get why people wouldn't like it. Thanks for watching Michelle! :)
I do no makeup looks every once in awhile. Maybe because I don’t do them often it seems to take me longer to apply a no makeup look than just a reg face. 😆😳

Nope! Drunk Elephant Lippe defined my outer pigmentation more. It's a staple for me now b/c my lips were super pale before and my pigmentation was all uneven before. I've gone through tubes and tubes and tubes.
Bah humbug. 😶 I've given up on *daily sunscreen. My commute is very short, so on a workday, I'm not outside for more than 15 minutes total. More importantly, I've yet to find a sunscreen that doesn't make me break out in a rash, acne, or both. Yay. I don't moisturize since I'm so oily - like Risa - but I live in a climate like yours. If I am working outside, I use baby formula zinc. White cast doesn't bother me - I wear Alabaster in EL DW. I wish someone would make a genuinely oily/sensitive skin friendly sunscreen. If it says glow, or moisturizing on the label, I know that means oil slick for me. 😖Someday I will find sunscreen. But I'm not counting on it.
Paula’s choice super light wrinkle defense came to mind immediately. Have you tried that one? That Bare Elements one is super matte also. Both work on my sensitive skin in the deep summer when I’m oiliest. The latter being matte matte, while Paula’s choice is a natural, but not radiant finish and easier to blend since it’s not waterproof. Also Cotz matte primer sunscreen is a fantastic matte formula in mineral form that’s great for oily skin!
Pricewise, it's pretty equal to other Sephora sunscreens and is the same size bottle. But it's hard to find sunscreens and everyone is individual! Good luck with your search!
I am so fed up with greasy, slippery feeling sunscreens. I might give one of these a try. I usually use a sunscreen with a moisturizer so I’m pleased you mentioned some. Which one is really the least shiny and greasy feeling? Thanks for your help!!😉👍🏻

Stephanie, which spf doesn’t sting eyes( while exercising) mine sting into my eyes while sweating . Is it chemical, mineral or hybrid..?thx🩷🩷
For me, mineral is the best bet for not stinging my eyes! And for sweating, waterproof formulas usually work better for that!
