Rob...yes, it all makes sense....I too get around 45-47 mpg. in the warmer month's here in Pa. ...now, I'm getting around 33-34 mpg. ...ICE engine runs more to maintain a constant temperature for the hybrid battery....looking forward to warmer weather and better mpg's ... Enjoy your video's...
I just subscribed. I’m enjoying your Maverick content. I think with the oil change interval, I plan to just do it every 5,000 miles regardless of what the indicator on the truck shows. I have the gas turbo model and I believe the engine oil is also used to keep the turbo cool and lubricated. So I think changing the oil more regularly is important for that reason as well. I had a similar problem with mileage.Agree with your battery theory.We in Canada have what they call winter gas that is a mix of gas and ethanol. This fuel is not as efficient as summer gas
