Yeah, Sonic and Shadow meeting for the first time in the movie gives off major "I found you Faker" vibes from Sonic Adventure 2. But also Keanu is definitely sell the role of Shadow really well, I can't wait to see this movie next week! ^^
@@Swolidarity I assume you know this but I’ll say it anyway. The reason chaos control allows him to “teleport” longer distance than chaos snap. Is because he’s not actually teleporting. He’s stopping time and then moving to another location before time resumes. Which from an outside perspective looks like teleportation because he’s moving from one place to another instantaneously from other people’s viewpoint. However it has been shown to be a teleportation ability in the past. But sega/sonic team definitely seems to be trying to retcon the teleportation aspect of chaos control to an extent and have it simply just be a time stop ability.
In terms of small details, I'm surprised Skull didn't talk about the update sign to include the mysterious pink haired girl that's been plaquing the Sonic community. If she didn't mention it on her social

Technically he’s using something called chaos snap, allowing him to transport short distances rather than chaos control which is more long distance
