Maybe he uses hotter pickups than you? And a boost pedal maybe... I find that with the superkraken I own changing the voicing of pickups respectively the amp voicing adds a lot of gain... ( preamp focus is a boost too though hehe)
yeah ive been scratching my head on this sever since i got mine as well. it simply does not break up like that at noon. ive tried it with some VERY hot pickups. not sure what the difference is, and i dont wanna send it back because i love the amp
