What an amazing teaching. This was the first time I took the Lord’s Supper with the correct understanding of what it means. 😂I was so happy to take it with you and your church online. Thanks you so very much.👍
Thanks god for brother Andrew he has help me a lot to see and read the Bible right. I have listen to a lot of false prophets before and false teachers and Andrew bring light to all false teachings I heard before. Thanks brother Andrew Farley. I listen from Sweden ! ❤️
Jesus Christ went to the cross and now lives to set sinful you free from death and hell. Repent and turn your heart to Him before it’s too late. Say yes!
I've never heard anyone else teach these passages of scripture properly! Most churches continue to take communion without discerning the needs of the body of Christ. They take communion thinking about their own selves without a care about others. It's all about proper fellowship, proper care for one another, and unity within the body of Christ, which is the church.
Good msg! Paul was teaching about walking in love. And we have turned it into a mere ritual. We ought to discern the Lord's body everyday. Jesus gave His body and died for ALL. So, all of us that believe are His body. We are one in Christ. So, we should love one another as He loved us.
It's my understanding that the Corinthians believed that knowledge was what made a man great. The more knowledge you had the greater you were. The Corinthian believers were using their knowledge of Christ and doctrine to show off how great they were. They were considering themselves more "enlightened" than other believers, which is what Corinth was known for. I heard someone say that Jesus took the Corinthians out of Corinth, but they still needed to get Corinth out of them. They were hanging on to the Corinthian practice of being great by possessing more knowledge.
Pastor Farley, I take only one exception to this lesson: the Word says "examine himself." That does not mean to examine others around you. Can you give me a deeper explanation how you have come to make this statement, please and thank you?
Examine himself to be sure he is in proper fellowship and unity and care for the entire body of Christ, which is the church, rather than thinking about his own self. The main purpose of the gathering together of believers has always been to take care of each other and to encourage and lift up one another, not to feed yourself or lift yourself up by showing off what you have. It's actually like dismembering yourself from the rest of the body. We all need each other!
I'd like to ask a question to Dr Farley if I may. You spoke of God's discipline through others. My Pastor recently rebuked me for posting on Facebook where I challenged the concept of "hell" as a place of eternal, conscious torment. He said we must be "careful" of what we post on social media, especially if it went against what the church believes as a "fundamental" truth. I do not believe the concept of hell was a fundamental teaching of the early church fathers. Whether you agree with me or not, I'd like to hear whether you believe the rebuke was appropriate. Thanks.
Hell is not a place of eternal conscious torment. It is a place where unbelievers who rejected Christ will be destroyed and experience the second death.
@@BelieveontheLordJesusChrist hell is eternal, but torment of unbelievers is not. I don't go along with annihilationism or any other "ism". I believe if there were "scriptures precisely explaining" everything, that there would be less confusion on the topic. It is argued that the Greek word "aion" , translated as "eternal" in scripture, has the idea of "age long" and not everlasting. In certain contexts it can be shown that scripture uses "aion" to refer to something that is not everlasting. The suffering is eternal in its effects, not eternal in time. Therefore the effect would be that the person will never experience God's blessings for eternity, not that the person would suffer eternally. Psalm 37:38 " but transgressors will be altogether destroyed, the posterity of the wicked will be cut off." Psalm 14:11 " The House of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish" Psalm 94:23. " He has brought back their wickedness upon them and will destroy them in their evil, the Lord our God will destroy them." Psalm 28:5 " because they do not regard the works of the Lord nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up" Psalm 92:7 " that when the wicked sprouted up like grass and all who did iniquity flourished, it was only that they might be destroyed forever more" Phil 1:28. " in no way alarmed by your opponents, which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too from God." Phil 3:19 " whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things." 1 Tim 6:9 " but those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction" 2 Tim 2:14 " remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of their hearers". 2 Peter 2:3 " and in their greed they will exploit you with false words, their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep" 2 Peter 2:12 " but these, like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed." 2 Peter 3:7. " but by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men." in Romans 9:22 those vessels of wrath were prepared for destruction. Psalm 73:27 "for behold, those who are far from You will perish; You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to You." and Matt 7:13 talks about the broad gate leading to destruction. Those are just a couple of things to think about on the topic. Now I'm not saying that all of these verses precisely explain my point of view on the subject , but these are a few points in Scripture that you may want to look into and study on the topic.
Hey Nicholas :) Here is a great book to help explain and develop your understanding on the truth about hell. www.amazon.ca/Eternal-Torment-Critical-Assessment-Traditional/dp/1795612878 Be blessed!
@@BelieveontheLordJesusChrist -- Jesus explained that being cast into hell destroys body and soul (Matthew 10:28). That is why Revelation calls being cast into hell the second death (Revelation 20:14). That is the final environmental condition for unbelievers. As Sabbath Rest stated, unbelievers are not tormented forever. The beast from the sea, the beast from the earth (false prophet), and Satan are tormented forever (Revelation 20:10). These three are supernatural entities -- fallen angels -- not human beings. Since they aren't physical beings, the flames cannot consume them. It is *after* this that the Bible mentions unbeliever (those not found in the book of life) cast into hell (Revelation 20:15). The fires of hell burn forever, but people are not the fuel for the flames. The fires were burning long before anyone was cast in. They will burn long after that last person goes up in smoke. It is true that unbelievers receive "everlasting punishment" (Matthew 25:46), but that only means that what goes into hell never comes out. The death penalty is forever, but an executed prisoner doesn't suffer forever. Why would the second death be different from the first? The reason preachers have taught eternal torment is to use fear as a weapon to gain control over the ignorant. It is an example of religion without faith.
