Here's an easy trick to get things level: Do one side at a time. Put it up roughly where you think it should go, mark the spot on one side, screw in a screw (or as us Europeans with brick or cement walls, drill a hole and use a "rawlplug") and boom, you got yourself a free hand. Simply hang up one side of whatever you need to mount, hold the other side with your hand, and mark the hole. As someone who just moved into my own house, I've done this probably 20 times thus far. Alternatively, stick some tape underneath the holes on the rack, mark the holes with a sharpie, and put the tape on the wall. Getting the flimsy 1 gram tape on the wall and getting it level is much, much easier than trying to mark some holes by lifting a rack up there.

If you want to get into weights, a power cage is the way to go, so it can catch the weights if you fail and can work out by yourself. To fit in your small space you could get a shorter "training" bar that can still hold a lot of weight for basic fitness.

    • @roberthayden5103

The reason for the discrepancy in the hole size for the Ethernet cable is for a cable that does not have a RJ45 end already crimped. Crimping afterwards reduces air leak between conditioned and unconditioned environments.

because working out in VR is waaaaay better for increasing your metabolism. lol but my 2 cents, paint the switch box white with appropriate metal spray paint and always use banana plugs for audio, takes longer initially but it pays back dividends when something happens, and it always does. like a lightning strike blowing up your amp or your cheap amp just dying and you have swap it out in a year or two.
