Hey guys. I just wanted to first and foremost say thanks again to Andrew, Bobby, Shane and everyone else who made this video possible. We’ll have to come back to Guyana soon! Second of all, sorry about how dirty the sensor of our camera was. We didn’t have the right tools to clean it at the time… and yeah, it’s bad. I can guess many of you might be wondering what’s next for the channel. Well, Nikki and I have already started out next trip. And the next video will be coming out pretty soon. Everything will be different. If you’re interested, don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for watching. Max & Nikki
This was a great tour through a country we sadly missed. You guys have carved a clear path for yourselves a film makers and we love it! Can't wait to see y'all again, over land or sea.
How cool to see Shane on TH-cam 😅 we have met Shane in Georgetown and he invited us over to his place. We were the ones who put his place on iOverlander. Nice to see that he is now receiving other overlanders. He is a great guy!
And we also met the guys with those big trucks in Cusco. The Unimog actually rolled over south of Manaus on the BR 319. The cabin got destroyed and they had to end their trip and ship back home only a couple of weeks into their trip.
Haha we saw your marker on iOverlander when we were planning the route. Then we met up with Andrew and he was like, "I'm taking you to my friends" and yeah, small world! Crazy about the unimog flipping, that sucks.
Sorry about the loss of your dog in Boa Vista, great to see you back. Loved the editing and presentation of your vlog. Not been to Guyana since my childhood many many decades ago, brought back good memories of eating coconuts, cashew, mangos, plantains, back dam safaris in land rovers and listening to Bob Marley blasting from every radio back then! The floating bridge was built in 78 before that you had to get a car ferry to cross the river, the British built the first railway in South America along the coast, it was dismantled in 74. Another ferry from Parika takes you to Essequibo west coast, its worth a visit.
The only thing more beautiful than the country of Guyana, is the people. They are some of the best and purest, kindest people out there. I hope to go visit again soon!
Hey Max. Loved the Guyana video. Such a beautiful place and kind people. A fitting end to this chapter. Please remain safe. We are looking forward to the next adventure! Moe and Leann
Happy that you were able to experience my wonderful country, shout out to Andrew(swamp Monster), Shane and the team... hope we can enjoy a 4x4 link up on your next trip here💯
Glad you were able to continue your Journey to Guyana After the Mishap in Brazil.... Guyana is My Beloved Homeland... Just A Tiny Correction... The Floating Bridge Across The Demerara River was not Built By The Dutch. It Was Built in the 1970's. Thanks For Another Great Travel Doc.
That's Rev Jim Jones, and the Peoples Temples old stomping grounds. If you're not familiar, look it up. Great vid. Guyana looks amazing. It's people seem very nice
Jim Jones and his people were Americans. Guyana is not his stomping ground. He bought land in the jungle of Guyana. Guyana is more than Jim Jones and yes our people are happy.
@@Westindiangyal1111 yeah I get that Guyana is more than just Jim Jones. No where in my post did I say that. It's what us Americans think of when we see Guyana though. It was a pretty big deal here. But thanks to amazing videos like this one, people can learn more about your beautiful country, other than that terrible tragedy
Ohhhhh, so glad to see your video pop up. I've been thinking of you both. How ARE you?!? Do you still have a Patreon? I so wish that I had found your channel earlier.
Curious what your thoughts are regarding size comparison between your rig and that 1st gen 4Runner , specifically how much interior space they have? I’m building a 1st gen 4runner rocklander myself and just curious since you’ve seen both side by side. Would you do the pan am in a 4Runner modded similar to yours ?
Haha I don't know how I slipped up there... I was looking at the map writing the voiceover, even managed to say it was on the west bank and still called it an island by accident 🤦♂️
The Esequibo belongs to venezuela 🇻🇪 is our territory all venezuelan people knows it. They have wanted to take our territory from us and are occupying it illegally. We respect our brothers from Guyana but their government is not acting correctly
The British kicked the Spanish out a long time out so suck it up and grow up.. you lost then and still today even more with a dictator ruler … now go in peace and vote free to improve living conditions for your trapped citizens
Found your channel through my cousin Bobby @bushmastercrew and I have been following your journey. I admire how you put your videos together and your storytelling abilities. Good luck and looking forward to your new adventures.

Our beautiful guyana
Good work Man, Enjoyed the run!!!
This is a missing key for me. Planning my trip down the Pan Am I found precious little about Guyana and Suriname. Thanks for this.
I've watched a number of your videos and I just wanted to say you do a really nice job. They are always interesting!

Nice and Adventurous
Good seeing u guys
Uuuuffff i loooooveeeeee it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great to see the different side of guyana, usually the crimes and corruption is the only thing you hear about daily.
We do love off roading

I think the difference in size is minimal. The land cruiser might be taller inside but not by much. I think either rig is a great choice!
❤
U guys forget about linden or kwakwani
Awesome place!
What do you use for protection
Going to all these places?
Esp with your girl...
Protection from what?
@goaloneTV bandits, cartels, mafias illegal loggers , illegal miners,
Jaguars , snakes, crocs
Cops
There is more Guyanese living outside Guyana 🇬🇾 than living in Guyana
Goto surinam next
such a shame you did not made it to Suriname :( i was looking forward to it
Ya, I would never liked that too
Next time!
Sold the land cruiser ?
Bartica is not an island it is part of the main land.
Haha I don't know how I slipped up there... I was looking at the map writing the voiceover, even managed to say it was on the west bank and still called it an island by accident 🤦♂️
Where meh guyanese dem deh!
Visit Sri Lanka
Don't drink the kool laid
I did not see any black people WHY ??
Esequibo belongs to Venezuela
You’re right, just how your mother belongs to the street….
Then come and get it, if you can or just stop dreaming.
You’re crazy to say that. Get a life.😀
@@daleafaghani340 sure.. we won´t tell you when....
