vraagje met die A/K ruiten in de BB, 3way, button all-in met 19bb, call van sb19bb, jij zegt daar isoleren en re-raised all-in. zou je dat een volgende keer ook zo spelen of toch check (folden) op een ongunstige flop??? dan geef je de sb een kans iets beters te floppen dan de button. ik probeer ook vaak met isoleren en hoor dan later had maar gecaled dan had je een tree op de lader gepakt.

@41:50 isnt it better to call AKs instead of jamming? We keep loads of sb hands that we dominate in and its more likely Nacho will bust vs two ranges. Or is it just a jam because of the bounty?
It's a jam because lex is a donk
It’s a jam not just because of the bounty but because 3 handed with a massive pay jump from 3 to 2, the chip leader can put you in so many bad places and make you make very tough decisions on a lot of flops so you do not get to realize the full equity of your hand. For example if the flop is like J95 and you face a flop bet you pretty much have to fold or commit a decent amount of your stack with just A high. If you just shove, the only hands you’re truly screwed by if he calls is AA or KK which are both very unlikely if you have one of each and he has to fold most of his pocket pair hands or even Ax Kx hands that could still suck out

I really don't get that isolation play with AK, for so much money why not just flat and see how it goes?
Cos the small blind will be flatting super wide with the bounty up for grabs and you can't let them realise their equity when you have as strong a hand as AK
@@ewenanderson4687 AK is not a strong holding considering the ICM though.
@@djdarklyceum yes there’s ICM but AK is still really strong here. Playing post flop would be a complete nightmare vs chip leader - most flops you would just have to straight up fold on and chip leader is pretty much always gonna triple barrel all in. Shoving is just much better.
@@djdarklyceum there’s also ICM considerations for the chip leader when Lex shoves. He can’t call of 2/3 of his stack with a garbage hand

45:01 Did you play that hand correct? In Cocos spot and stack I would raise with mostly premium hands like A ofcourse but even KQ and down. But then again i dont play at your stakes.
