I really enjoy watching your videos, I've been a duck fan all my life, basically the last 62 years that I can recall, my dad taking me to the old Hayward field to watch football then Autzen, season ticket holder for over 50 years. Defense needs to be better, possibly much better. Linebackers are good, not great. DB's are good, not great (also too small for the evolving college game). I feel confident that Oregon is reloading on the D-Line. Some concern on preparedness for this game. The month-long wait before the game simply did not help. At the end of the day, Ohio State had better overall players and the coaches had them prepared and focused. As my old Offensive Line coach would say:" Keep your head up and keep your feet driving!". Very proud of Oregon. Room for improvement and I believe it will happen.
Apparently listening to some of these comments-the Defense is Great and no changes needed for next year, just line it up and all is good!!! Participation 🏆
As a Buckeye fan, I enjoy your show. Oregon has a great team and will always be a challenge for us. I do believe the best teams always get better as the season progresses and the playoffs certainly give them the opportunity to showcase that. I also believe they need to do away with the Conference championships, just let the top record win it, and take the 12 top ranked teams for the playoffs. Copy the FCS scenario. You guys will be back, great to have you strengthen the Big10.
Why do you feel it is important to put the first thing down that you're a buckeye fan? What are you 5 years old? Go back and look at your comment and take away the first sentence. Everyone knows you're a buckeye fan. You don't have to start it out by saying you are. You're a clown and you embarrass Buckeye Nation.
Big Ten Ted pointed out that Oregon accomplished something that has never been done in the B1G-- the only team in one season to beat Ohio St., Michigan, Michigan St. and Penn St. No other team in history has done that.
Dude when that "one player" is a generational unguardable alien its hard to not let him take over a game if the coaches make a decisive effort to make him the focal point. It just is what it is. This is how we felt in the 2020 national championship game. We had absolutely no answer for devontae smith aka slim reaper.
Smash face / mouth is illegal now days and will get you a targeting or defenseless player penalty and likely a few pass interference penalties as well for being too aggressive. Unless your Texas against Arizona state in the last couple minutes that is.
What’s next for the Ducks? Oregon ain’t going anywhere. They have the coach, the NIL, and the recruiting machine. I am loving the rivalry between Ohio State and Oregon, they fit right into the B1G conference. B1G is the “new SEC” and Oregon is hovering around the top.
I don't really have thin skin like a lot of fans. I understand that every single football team Except for one is going to have a day like this Unless you win it all and I feel like under lanning. .. Oregon is only getting better so far. So I'm not too concerned, but it does break my heart to see you with a sad face. Because normally you're very peppy. We'll get it done eventually. We are heading in the right direction. We just need to make a few tweeks here and there
So the forever excuse is, they just ran into a really good team? They didn't just fall flat, they were unprepared and had circles coached around them. As usual, the ducks seemed nervous in a big game but it ultimately comes down to coaching, and it's already affecting recruiting, JKS might be gone. It's dumb to think you have to make it as hard as possible to win a championship, the other path was better cause yea you likely still play OSU but maybe you build momentum coming into it, they're maybe more worn down and hopefully you actually have time to have a game plan
That was the most unprepared Oregon football team I have seen. Complete embarrassment. 85% of that loss goes on the coaching. I still support Lanning but man that was brutal.
I wasn't surprised. They were not one of those "best of all time" teams in college football. Really good. But not that good. They weren't going undefeated. It doesn't work that way.
Any complaints about seedlings and pairings. 34-0 before is not good for any team at anytime let alone on many weeks rest and preparation. This only would have been worse if this were in the National Title game-it would have met a deserving team had been eliminated. 34-0 before half time says it all about the 2024 Ducks. No good team goes down 34-0 before halftime. No good team does this on the field.
The bye teams in nfl don’t always lose…but I like how people are using ASU and BSU losses as proof a bye is bad when those same people said that they didn’t deserve the bye in the first place.
as a buckeye fan, here is my take on the game. Ohio State had momentum obviously, riding a high. The break wasnt good for the ducks, that being said they didnt scheme well at all. They could have taken more shots to draw penalties on iggy and burke. Evan Stewart?? did he tap out or something. Ducks need better lineman...badly. Ducks secondary is not physical, they were better the first matchup, this time they wanted nothing to do with tackling. OSU just has been all around talent on defense
I put the blame on coaching! How could you not have your team prepared for a game like this? Even though they didn't play in 3 weeks they still practiced. It is so Oregon to just come up with excuses. The Ducks need to focus on what matters and stop being a Pre Madonna and worrying about things that don't matter like what uniform combo they are going to wear.
The coaches have little say and do not really care what the uniforms are each week. Who’s coming up with these excuses besides what you see on twitter bud?
As a Husky, I love being a Husky over being a duck, anyway and anyday. Losing as a Husky is here funner than being a Duck at here winning. You guys act like you as you are going to your own funeral here. It is a happy season. Oregon people would not know it. What a joke here.
34-0 before halftime. Strong?!? I don’t think you know what that word means. They do have a fancy facility. What will recruits and NIL think of 34-0 before halftime in a showcase game, let’s days a young man that is considering OSU or Oregon?
... Aaand to top it all off, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele just hit the portal. Oregon's 2024 recruiting class loses another 5-star skill player. Rough 2025 so far, Ducks. Rough.
Yes!!! It was 34-0 before half time and Oregon Ducks are a great team. OSU must be ready for the Super Bowl, get them in the NFL playoffs somehow. Great!!! What does that word mean, words don’t mean much what they used to mean anymore.
What is next for the Ducks football program? To do what they've always done. Phil Knight will pump more and more money into the program to buy even nicer facilities and to offer even more lucrative NIL deals to obtain the best players possible. That's the sad things about college athletics these days. These days, MONEY wins championships. Not recruiting. Not coaching. Not developing players. Not building a team culture. MONEY BUYS PLAYERS. Did Oregon's coaching staff teach and "develop" Dillon Gabriel? No they didn't. They PURCHASED Dillon Gabriel as a hired gun. They used money and privilege to BUY him. They didn't recruit him. They didn't develop him. Because of Phil Knight, Oregon athletics are part of the "haves" of college sports. So life is really good for Oregon fans because their team has a bottom-less bank account. At least prior to NIL and the transfer portal, teams who had less talent actually had a chance against more talented teams. In those days, player development MATTERED. Coaching MATTERED. Strategy MATTERED. This is why a guy like, Mike Leach, was able to defeat Oregon four years in a row (and nearly six years in a row) even though his WSU teams had way less talent than Oregon teams. Leach simply had Oregon's number. He was simply better coach than Oregon's coaches were. But those days are over. Now it's about MONEY. Today, MONEY buys championships. Hopefully, Phil Knight will live to see the day that Oregon football wins a National Championship. It would be a shame if he doesn't, especially after pumping so much money into the program. College sports is at its absolute lowest point right now. And it will only get lower.
1st and recruit the best players on both sides of the ball…defense was always suspect…try and get stein to watch old chip kelly offense schemes, the whole winter!!! need to have stein study!!!! And od, be ready to play defense next yr!!
Would you show the recruits and the NIL transfers highlights from the Rose Bowl-the World Stage of College Football or not. What would you tell the recruit if they asked, what happened? The same 💩 they’ve been telling us or the grown up man stuff.
Conference championships gotta go.They were only an excuse to try and thin the herd for final voting for bowl games or to thin it when it was a 4 team playoff. Oregon offense peaked against Penn St, the D just wasnt top notch this year then a month off and this was the result. Just like the NFL whoever gets hot and has a chip on their shoulder will likely win it all and that has Ohio St written all over it right now. In all honesty the only team in the tournament that could of maybe given Ohio ST a game and make it a contest woulda been Arizona St who didn't know any better and had a massive chip of their own
You were not as good as Ohio St but you got hosed there is no way they should have match you up with the buckeyes coming out the gate, you should have played MSU Boise it’s just wrong what they did to Oregon I think the game would have been better if you would have played another team and had a win under your belt.
🦆 scheme will look way different if Moore is starting he can’t run and I think since conference champion gets hardest route I say 🦆 lose a few and get in cfp with easier route idgaf what Dan says we could’ve played SMU Clemson Tennessee over any rematch rematches if they happen should be for natty imagine OSU Penn state natty and we beat both smfh
What do you think HS recruits and NIL transfers will think of 34-0 before halftime. Maybe the better fans are the fans that don’t want participation trophy cultures. That was a horrible coaching performance, he signed off on the prep, and that was a horrible on field performance. Do not delude yourself participation trophy culture. OSU could have scored over 50-easily. That was gracious winning. How many good teams went down 34-0 before halftime in the history of college football? Good teams, not great teams. Great teams don’t ever go down 34-0 before halftime unless of course you want to change the definition of great too. Wacko Oregon and its words don’t mean what they used to culture. Great teams don’t go down 34-0 before halftime-what part of that is wrong?
We got man handled on Wednesday Also no one took Ohio st -19.5 lmao This only happens to us ducks But gambling has ruined professional sports I believe
Not just gambling and the corruption that comes with it...but the actual demise of amateur athletics because of big money influences. The corruption we will see in the next twenty years from college sports will be will be devastating to the American pastime.
I've been here for 30 years and have felt this way every fucking year. Lied to all season by the media and fans. So you allow yourself to believe a team who has never won anything in history to actually win something.
They won the Big Ten Championship in the first year in the Conference....that is something....Look at who they have beaten that are still in the playoffs.
We have the Millennial in charge now-they hand out Participation trophies and don’t know what words like great or man or woman mean. This could be the wake up call (did the Ducks really need a wake up call) or the beginning of the end. If that loss is acceptable, it’s the beginning of the end. It was an awful effort by players and coaches and no one else. They failed. Could they have lost certainly, but they should have competed.
Out coached. out played, same O, never won a national Championship. Who cares about conference championship. Huskies made it to championship game. WTF Same o same o, NIP $$$$$$$$$$. LAME MMMMMMM
Actually...to come into the Big Ten and in your first year win the Big Ten Championship made a statement that cannot be denied. I say this as a Buckeye fan anticipating many great games to come.
34-0 before halftime, but what I’m learning is that great times for down 34-0 before halftime. I did not know this-we didn’t have participation trophies in my time-when was the last time, if ever, a great OSU team let alone a great any team went down 34-0 before half time. Great teams do not go down 34-0 before half time/. Therefore, 2024 Oregon Ducks were not a great team, they were a good team. At least two probably three better Oregon Ducks seasons. Shameful.
It's a good thing. There was a lot more parity with the top teams. No one other than Ohio St (at this moment) was really dominant. It's going to give a lot more teams a chance to compete but the gap between those with money and without will obviously grow bigger.
@TrevorToonArt Ya. All true. And there will be the haves and the have nots, mostly based off the size of their collectives. Some blue blood schools have a large number of wealthy doners. It does make a big difference.
Dude, this isn't about fans who invest money. C'mon. You don't have any idea who cares more than who. That's all bs talk. You need to have fans all over the country, yes even people that have never set foot in Oregon. It helps with everything especially recruiting. As for the game, fans have the right to be pissed. Three weeks off to prep and THAT was the product put on field? It's unacceptable. We aren't the Beavs. We shouldn't settle for mediocrity.
I would agree and say the fans that accept and rationalize a 34-0 score before halftime criticizing those that call it out for what it is. Remember there are millions and million of adult aged people that were raised up in that participation trophy mindset and I promise you in Leftist Marxist Oregon-delusion is an easy thing.
Real fans don’t let teams that are down 34-0 before halftime be called great and silly the great teams before them that did the work and prep for the Rose Bowl and won. It’s a competition sport not a participation sport. We have a leader from the Participation 🏆 generation and his minions are Millennial-the Ducks have never won a National Championship one of the best programs to never do so-they clearly prepared as if they had already achieved that incredible accomplishment. Showing up is important, they had clothes on, but not much else.
I almost hope Oregon fails so they learn money is not everything. Makes no sense. Pac 12 needs to come back. Oregon will never win another big 10 championship. We will lose our top recruits now. Best teams don't rush for negative yards. They don't give the best receiver 200 yards receiving. They don't have a 5'5" quarterback who needs a step stoll to see the receivers. I hate these transfer quarterbacks. They truly don't care about the team. They show they are all about themselves and not about loyalty. We need a recruited quarterback who truly cares about the team.

We just need to make a few tweeks here and there
Leave the PAC, you get whacked. Hate this for the Ducks. Wanted them to win it all.
Rian yr team is very good and scary team you guys beat Michigan we did not!!!!let’s see if we can win against Texas Longhorn s
2:29 Georgia also had a first time starting quarterback
I guess to make the opening matchups more fair that Oregon shoulda got Clemson or SMU while Ohio State coulda faced Jacksonville, the Jets or Da Bears
🦆💪🏽🦆💪🏽🦆
Looks like 4 teams got out played.
We need Evan Stewart to come back next season.
Remind me, what was the score before halftime. I’m not sure people on here know that
34-0 before half time, how many great OSU teams have gone down 34-0 before half time? Seriously.
we know what’s next we have seen this before
Mannnnn I lost so much money on this game bro I haven’t got out the bed since Wednesday night im beyond sick man 😔😞😢
will we ever get a monster like j. smith???
I dont think many teams will ever have a Jeremiah Smith. Dudes a generational player. Not to pick the overused word, but he clearly is.
stall #2?😜
The bye teams in nfl don’t always lose…but I like how people are using ASU and BSU losses as proof a bye is bad when those same people said that they didn’t deserve the bye in the first place.
You said it best Oregon tell I die💯
I dont think they were 20 pionts better.....i think they lost momentum during the 3 week layoffs
as a buckeye fan, here is my take on the game.
Stewart was hurt and didn’t play.
Are you in the restroom Rian😆??
As a Husky, I love being a Husky over being a duck, anyway and anyday. Losing as a Husky is here funner than being a Duck at here winning. You guys act like you as you are going to your own funeral here. It is a happy season. Oregon people would not know it. What a joke here.
Go bucks 🌰
what's next? rebranding the program from 'Ducks' to 'Capons'
Just a bad game for both coaches and players....their foundation is strong
34-0 before halftime. Strong?!? I don’t think you know what that word means. They do have a fancy facility. What will recruits and NIL think of 34-0 before halftime in a showcase game, let’s days a young man that is considering OSU or Oregon?
I am sad to say this but Ohio State is going to RAG DOLL every team they play in this years playoffs.
... Aaand to top it all off, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele just hit the portal. Oregon's 2024 recruiting class loses another 5-star skill player. Rough 2025 so far, Ducks. Rough.
34-0 before halftime.
Was it 34 - 0 before halftime?
In all honesty the only team in the tournament that could of maybe given Ohio ST a game and make it a contest woulda been Arizona St who didn't know any better and had a massive chip of their own
Conference championships mean nothing but $$$$$
You were not as good as Ohio St but you got hosed there is no way they should have match you up with the buckeyes coming out the gate, you should have played MSU Boise it’s just wrong what they did to Oregon I think the game would have been better if you would have played another team and had a win under your belt.
Tosh is a bagman. He’s not a good D coach. He should be fired.
Fumbduck Uniform Reveal should focus more on the tassels, ribbons and sequins. Besides, that's what the boys they're recruiting really come for.
Gambling has ruined sports. It's so scripted and corrupt.
We got man handled on Wednesday
Also no one took Ohio st -19.5 lmao
This only happens to us ducks
But gambling has ruined professional sports I believe
Not just gambling and the corruption that comes with it...but the actual demise of amateur athletics because of big money influences. The corruption we will see in the next twenty years from college sports will be will be devastating to the American pastime.
I've been here for 30 years and have felt this way every fucking year. Lied to all season by the media and fans. So you allow yourself to believe a team who has never won anything in history to actually win something.
They won the Big Ten Championship in the first year in the Conference....that is something....Look at who they have beaten that are still in the playoffs.
34-0 before halftime, that’s not a good team
34-0 before halftime and you’re proud of being a Big Ten Champion.
@@BetterDays-e8h
What was the score?
34-0 before halftime, but what I’m learning is that great times for down 34-0 before halftime. I did not know this-we didn’t have participation trophies in my time-when was the last time, if ever, a great OSU team let alone a great any team went down 34-0 before half time. Great teams do not go down 34-0 before half time/. Therefore, 2024 Oregon Ducks were not a great team, they were a good team. At least two probably three better Oregon Ducks seasons. Shameful.
Quick poll: most delusional fans? Dallas Cowboys or Oregon Ducks....
USC fans.
Husky fans
You wont have a 6 year quarterback !!! Next year... start all over... you wont be even close to # 1 next year... you will take your lumps next year
U
I still think the NIL BS is bad for college sports. Whats your take ?
it is bad, but the portal is good atleast, making the teams more level so far
It's a good thing. There was a lot more parity with the top teams. No one other than Ohio St (at this moment) was really dominant. It's going to give a lot more teams a chance to compete but the gap between those with money and without will obviously grow bigger.
@TrevorToonArt
Ya.
Ducks will be a .500 team next year changing the quarterback and offensive line constantly.
Spamming comments and crying like a baby is sad. You aren't a real fan with these types of comments. Just a emotional bandwagon hater if anything
@@Elit3Energy I couldn’t have said it better 🙏
They aren't going to be .500 but they probably will have a couple losses. Which might ultimately be a good thing.
We need a recruited quarterback who truly cares about the team.
get lost
do you realize how stupid you sound.....didn't think so
qb that slapped you was a transfer portal add
Dumb comment
