How can I recreate that sound ? I have a moeer100 sound pedal that has a lot of different presets on it but I’m not sure if it has the ability to make something like that ... are you using digital and pedal wah together or garage band plug ins?
Hi man ! have you any good tutorials/advice what are basics to make this kind doom melodical death metal , how to build up such music . Sounds amazing and i want to learn to create also this kind music , im playing guitar.
I haven't followed any, but there are likely to be some on guitar forums around the internet. Basically I would suggest to listen to alot of Doom Death metal and start playing them. Keep it melodic and mellow, down tempo. Palm muted rythm is used, but far from what you would hear in other genres, less is better. You won't be fidling around with the faster and more technical demanding elements of Melodic Death metal for instace, so focus on the melodic part. Would also add that double harmonics and Doom/Death goes really well together :). So Tune down the guitar and get a good sound - Feel free to download the presets I have on some of my videos if you have Guitar Rig - also get a good sustain. Thinking of it I pretty much use the Aeolian scale most of the time when playing Doom/Death metal. I know it's not much to go by, but there's so many better suited to answer these questions than me :)
