Ok I have come as a professional Chinese person of 18 years. First the name, 除 (chu） means to get rid of 邪(xie) basically means curse, so the name of the game could be translated to exorcism. Secondly , the gold coins. At first I thought they could have been referring to the paper money we burn for our dead ancestors (though ghosts dont traditionally horde it or go really crazy for it) but nah they're just random gold coins. Thirdly, the spirit investigator, probably just crappy translation for monk or shaman or just some spiritual/religious person usually called to haunted locations to rid it of spirits by either performing a cleansing ritual or solving its unfinished business. Popular in hotels, casinos and hospitals (basically anywhere with a lot of suicides or deaths). The reason police weren't allowed could be because of this horror movie cliche where often they'll start with an unexplainable supernatural phenomenon, they'll call the police they won't believe them, so they call a "supernatural investigator" to solve it. All in all a shitty game but still nice to see my favorite TH-camr play a Chinese game. Hope to see more
ALSO the weapons thing could also be because monks but more often shamans will have special tools like blessed swords to ward the spirit away, they can also be used by a shaman because it's believed they infuse the weapon with their own cultivated qi (don't quote me on that though)

This games got it all, a psychic detective, a move busting pig and man cheetahs. 11/10
For as jank as this game is, 5:58 tapped into my very specific phobia of humanoids under sheets. My lizard brain recoiled HARD at a gaggle of them. And the ones that charge and flail at you? No thanks I'd rather hang out in the vents with the cheetah gimp suit fellow.

using a 3D asset instead of a png is also a nice touch.
That final hospital segment is in legit like 5 different games I’ve played. I think it has to be some free unity asset because it’s 1 for 1 the same layout. It’s in this game, panicore, demonologist and etc
