    You’re a natural teacher. I enjoyed the podcast and learned something about cotton. Your knits are perfection.

    I'm always amazed at the info u provide. I always look forward to ur pods. Thanks for the cotton info. I used mesmerized cotton for doilies when I crocheted. I'm now learning knitting from YT. Ur projects and style is so classic. Thanks for sharing.

    What a beautiful jacket you have knitted. Just incredible. Love your vlog and hearing about cotton. I only buy 300 plus thread count Egyptian cotton sheets but your knowledge was very interesting so thank you. Looking forward to seeing progress on your garden. Hope you had a lovely trip to see your uncle .❤

    Your jean jacket turned out great! I liked the 'Levi' style buttons. That was a nice touch. I enjoyed learning about the different types of cotton. Aqua is the perfect color for your waves sweater.

    Interesting episode. Just finished knitting a cotton sport weight sweater and haven’t yet blocked FO. Had to rip out a few times to get the fit I wanted and the cotton seemed to hold up well during this process - time will tell. Looked at the yarn label after watching this episode and it is mercerised cotton made in Hungary, Schachenmayr Catania sport weight which has a nice sheen. Appreciate the info you shared on cotton types and processes including sheets. Jean Jacket looks great!

    The top is lovely and the jean jacket looks great on you.
    The information about cotton was new to me. I’m going to check the labels when I buy bed sheets next😀
    Have a nice trip to Florida

      Good morning, thank you. When I was talking about the yarn content of the yellow top is said 100% cotton. That yarn is 70% Pima and 30% linen. Just in case you didn’t catch the earlier episode where I talked a lot about that yarn. 🧶❤️🌸

    I’m happy for a gray rainy day here in Newport - perfect time to work on my Inlet gauge swatch and catch up on all your podcasts. It took 3 podcasts to finish it because I have to do a lot of stopping to look up and ‘favorite’ all your design inspiration in Ravelry 😊. Love the Italian yarn, wearing that beautiful sweater will always bring back memories of that wonderful trip!

    Hello Diane! The Informations about the different kinds of cotton are very interesting. I am actually Knitting a sweater out of pima wool and it is lovely to knit with. Of course in Colour Aqua 😊. The "Jeans Jacket" is absolutely great and "tres chique". Loved to watch your episode! Have a nice time! Lots of greetings from Cologne, Germany. ❤

    I love your yellow top! It is so summery and light. I will have to knit that. After learning so much from you about cotton yarn, (thank you for that), do you think I should knit it with the Leverett yarn or should I try to find some mercerized cotton in yellow? Have a nice time with your uncle in Florida

      @theislandlamb  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mary Ellen, thank you. I think the Leverette is perfect it’s a 70% Pima cotton and 30% Linen blend. I love the finished product. Enjoy!!
