A 4 hour episode? Wow. This is going to be awesome. Thank you for the video Jeff, hope you’re doing well. Have a great day and a great weekend also. Take care!
If SCS we’re to make a proper handling model for trucks as well as cars and have more densely detailed urban areas, I believe they could easily capture a larger part of the gaming market they never thought they could. But all in all still a great game..
A general driving simulator that you can do some light racing in, there's only one game like this called city car driving simulator, but the maps are as the name implies mostly cities and small ones.
Cool trip, Jeff, thanks for the video! I did a similar trip in my OTR training. Auburndale, FL to Tacoma, WA. Load of Tropicana OJ for Costco. I think it took my trainer and I about 3 days to do it, 3100 miles. Dispatch kept hounding us not to be late, asking why are we running late, even though they gave it to us late. Dang dispatch!!
This was great to watch and ride along with! Would love to see more of these long videos, very soothing and relaxing! Made for many different time passing watches such as some time at work, and falling asleep too. Overall very comforting video.
8:00 that's the location of the famous Seattle offramp that everyone goes way to fast down and slams into the side retaining wall. Goes from ~70mph to stopped at a stop light in like 100 yards. They didn't model it appears though unfortunately
1:38:40 - That's actually a perfectly appropriate maneuver. Most planners intend for drivers to start to switch to center turn lanes quite a bit before they change to left turn lanes. This, as you can see how it would in the video, helps tremendously with traffic flow. It allows vehicles turning left to decelerate slower, lowers the chance of last-minute switches (when used properly), and still allows drivers turning left into a lot near the intersection, as apposed to having to wait for the traffic to clear and then needing to change lanes at the last second. Really wish more drivers understood this. It's barely taught in exams but helps traffic move so much more efficiently.
Such an awesome chill video! Killed half my work shift of driving while listening / watching you drive... Thank you for your service! o7 Always appreciate the company, Jeff! I almost forgot! Extra, Boca!
Going 3789 miles in 4.22 hours means 875.057737 miles / hour speed. This is the speed Boeing 787 that broke 800mph speed Virgin Atlanta due to good wind. What a cadillac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Xtra! Also would love to see a east coast drive like from Florida to Maine! And a west coast one, ive technically done both IRL so would love to see what the game looks like.
Damn the transformation of coast to coast from when it first came out til now is pretty mind blowing, I never ran it cause all it use to be was a single road with nothing and copy paste cities, now it actually looks like a scs dlc, will def have to get this whenever I get the rest of the scs dlc
Xtra I love this video and I love road trips. This makes me feel like I am part of the trip and have watched the whole way so far. In sessions of course. Thanks for the video! Can you do one of PA please? I vacation there once a year and wonder how much it looks like the real life scenery. Look up LeRaysville, PA and that is the area I am talking about. Even if they don't have that town, just drive in the general area.
My Wife Brittany and I know what Coast to Coast feels like somewhat lol. Her and I used to live up in Southern Minnesota. And a majority of her family lives out in Colorado. So every Holiday such as Christmas ect her and I would make the drive from our place in Minnesota out to Colorado. Then make the road trip back to Minnesota. 697 miles each way, grand total of 1,394 miles. We are huge fans of yours and your content. We are subbed to both of your channels. And we LOVE watching you. Keep up the great work!!
This is not a dig as I’ve been a long time viewer and follower. But, the silent driving was awesome. Really helped me chill before I move from Bremerton, Wa to Nevada. Great video, Jeff.
Bit of a tip if your driving a car in ATS/ETS2. Go into Gameplay settings and go to where it says Speed Limits, by default it says Show Truck Limit, but if you change it to Show Car Limit I think you shouldnt be able to be fined unless your doing over the car speed limit. Loved the vid and the car Jeff!
would never think you would pull this off lol, nice job on this I loved it. Good For night time Videos since you like to talk in it. feels like im sitting in the back seat.
I stayed in Moab for a bit while visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks! Dead Horse State Park (close to Canyonlands) has an amazing view of the area too, I’ve heard Utah natives recommend it. Zion NP is cool too. I went to Zion for the second time since I was younger, last year, and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
@ 2 hours and 13mins there is a nice white Ferrari California. Love the variety of traffic but damn would never have pictured that kind of vehicle there on a highway haha. Very cool to see though!
At this point the devs just need to purchase coast to coast, add it to the game, tweak it a little bit or add bigger and better cities and call it a day with a finished game instead of taking years to finish it out.
hey Jeff just wanted to say I love your American truck simulator videos I've watched every single one of them an I love the work you put into your videos keep up the good work man
This is an awesome upload Jeff I’m 5 minutes in and I can tell it’ll be a great one! It’s awesome you follow the traffic rules as well I’m a heavy fan of that, have you thought about getting a fast car and doing a trip where you cruise at like 85-100 and drive somewhat fast between traffic I think it’d be an interesting episode
Thank you Jeff! I've been a very very big fan of your channel since I was at least 12 years old (6 years ago)! I love your content, keep it up Jeff! Also, I've been subbed with my account for rwo years, and I believe I'm subscribed on my school account.
Hey Jeff. The place in Mississippi where you fueled up but didn't know where you were is Holly Springs, Mississippi. I will say that Holly Springs looks a lot nicer in the game than it does in real life. I live not too far from it, so you technically stopped for fuel in my hometown.

I would happily cruise across the U.S in a Honda Fit, they would certainly get my money.
I was playing ATS today and had the same thought! So maybe there is something to this idea.

Im just waiting for someone to port the ATS map to Assetto corsa
100% It would be like a massive version of those Assetto Corsa hoon maps. Holy hell, Imagine a Cannoball run...
Only a few minutes in but I already love this. Good video to chill and ride along with you today, Jeff.

My game keep crashing on coast to coast map I was in macon Georgia Every time I loading to game it crash
I also liked the fact that you drove properly and did not go speeding through the streets. I like how realistic you made it.
Great job!

Great video Jeff! It sure is nice when you have the whole US open to you in ATS! Some parts of C2C look pretty nice too!

Welcome to Flo-duh. This was a lot of fun to watch. It still amazes me how far technology has come in simulation.
This is therapeutic...very relaxing...keep up the good work
“Xtra” this was such a great vid Jeff! Keep up the great work :)
Thanks a ton!
these maps are much bigger than I thought. I always thought it took like 10 minutes real time to get across the map lol
Xtra! Also would love to see a east coast drive like from Florida to Maine! And a west coast one, ive technically done both IRL so would love to see what the game looks like.
Boca!
So much effort and time involved in this. Wonderful job and awesome video Jeff!
The chill vibes of this stream just make me so relaxed lol.

I think he knows but he didn't change it and also most of the state trucks follow car speed limit
I was watching this seeing that truck limit and wondering why he did not think to change that.
This is dedication

I'm 30 minutes in and I'm already engaged. I LOVE stuff like this. Thank you, Jeff, for doing this. P.S The music break is a great idea, IMHO.
this is actually such a vibe

Love this! Made me want to do this in American and Euro Truck (promods)

Hey Jeff. The place in Mississippi where you fueled up but didn't know where you were is Holly Springs, Mississippi. I will say that Holly Springs looks a lot nicer in the game than it does in real life. I live not too far from it, so you technically stopped for fuel in my hometown.
