I totally agree. There's such a deep humanness and sense of community, almost in a tribal and primitive way, coming out of his music. And the wisdom of simplicity as well. Truly inspiring. I'm really curious about what his musical influences are. With his use of pedal points and mixolydian/dorian modes and quartal harmony, it kind of sounds like nordic folk (which would make sense considering that he lives in Sweden).

It feels like coming opening doors to a time, to a place that once was, that once existed, that was pure, bright, airy and full of joy and openness. I can't explain that feeling. This song helps me scratch the opening to that window.

i remember back around 2011 when i hangout in my cousin's house on a weekend, i used to play this game called Red Dead Redemption on his PS3 for hours. then theres one moment where my character goes across the border to fictional Mexico, and the game starts to play Gonzalez's "Far Away", i felt so immersed listening to it as i watch my character rides his horse throughout the desert landscape.. now here i am, 10 years afterwards, still entranced by his newest songs haha
