Well done mate! Congrats on the excellent quality of your Master System console. You were really nailing Breakout there for a long time, that game is my favourite out of the three. The other two are okay but not as exciting as Breakout. Hard to believe these were the popular arcade games of the early 1980's with kids flocking to the arcades just to play these for a mere few minutes. How times change but these old games are still way more fun than what's on offer in today's modern gaming scene.
I think the loss of arcade video gaming of modern times has really screwed up the video game industry, all we have now is Time Zone with crane games and non-video game activities.

Thanks. Consoles Unleashed did a great job to make the board for this. it worked absolutely well in the end. Their Installation guides were easy to follow too.
That game out of the whole three is something I'm pretty good at from what you can see here. Centipede. OK, Missile Command is another good one I'm good at. I can see why that is. How time flies. Born in the 80's grown up most of my childhood through the 90s
Well Where I am located we got Intencity that does have some video game arcades still around among other things too.

@@JRussellRetroGaming Intencity and Time Zone usually just have a few racing car simulators like ''Crusin'' or ''Mario Kart''. There's no coin ops anymore like Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat etc. Although there's a tavern up the road from me that does have a Street Fighter II coin op machine (the Rainbow Edition bootleg too) and several other coin ops in their lobby so they are still around in very small numbers I guess.
No worries Josho, really enjoying your Master System videos lately and happy to watch them. You upload in 50Hz so I have time for you, i'll have to watch GP Rider next.✌

Right i see. Our one has Daytona and Sega Rally championships still which puts a smile on my face. Along with deer shooting simulator. And my favourite the pinball machines.
Yep. Absolutely as I love playing in the resolution i played growing up which is 50Hz. somy oath. Which reminds me as i have to get around to doing a recording gameplay of OutRun that was a vote favourite. GP Rider is worth watching asI done the full 15 courses. So definitely a true longplay for that one.

The sound will be better on your Master System II console than your Mega Drive II as well. Mega Drive 1 & 2 consoles filter the PSG Master System mode audio and I notice your videos have very clear picture quality but the sound is very distorted. My videos don't look as good as yours and I use only standard AV out cables combined with 480p, but the sound is better in my videos as I either get the sound directly from the model 1 Mega Drive headphone jack for playing Mega Drive games or when playing Master System games I draw the PSG audio straight from the chip bypassing the headphone jack which gives it a cleaner sound.
Will watch this one when it's ready Josho. 👍

I truly noticed the audio quality is better on the Master System than the MegaDrive II when I did the RGB mod on it just last weekend gone. I am absolutely amazed with the results..
That clear quality is my game capture using HD Retrovision's YPbPr Component Cables which is giving excellent RGB video quality results. As for the sound. Yeah I too agree the MegaDRive II are notorious for bad audio quality. That will soon change as soon as my Triple Bypass arrives with the Mega AMP 2.0 Audio mod should help do the trick when i get around to modding that in. Reason I played this on the Master System II since for some reason, My Mega Everdrive x7 on the MegaDrive II seems to not let pone of the games on Arcade Smash Hits run and freezez. But it's a good thing though that I got the actual retail cartridge for it and played it on the System. So this is gonna be good to watch.
Hope to maybe see you on tomorrow's premiere of Enduro Racer Japan release in the morning. :)

@@JRussellRetroGaming Funny you said that because I tried the same game on my X7 last night and the same thing happened to me with one of the three games, one of them freezes. Like you I have the original game cartridge plus I have two cheap Chinese Master System EverDrives with this game in the SD card so I got 3 back ups.
Playing Master System games on an actual Master System console will always give a better performance than playing Master System games on a Mega Drive console, for one thing, the sound is always thicker on a Master System console. I was never a fan of how 8-bit SMS games sound through a Mega Drive that's why I never use a Mega Drive for recording Master System music. I'd rather use something like Regen emulater.
Gonna be a bit busy tomorrow but when I get a chance i'll give the Enduro Racer video a look. You'll know if i've watched it cause I will leave a comment.
