Awesome tool but I find myself using the rotary tool more. It's basically an overbuilt Dremel. I keep them in the same bag but more often than not I find myself grabbing the rotary tool.
It made me tons over the years by saving time. I most usually find myself using it for stuck or rounded stainless screws in restaurant equipment. I cut a straight section and use a big flathead to break it free.
Great for rounded bolts or seized screws. Cut a slit in top and attach any flathead or flathead bit on m12 impact and bam screw/bolt is loose and you saved time and money!!
Ive used my cut off tool on plastic. No burr, just a clen cut. And that little battery goes all day on that milwaukee cut off tool. Not cheap here in canada, but nice to have just in case.

I have it and i love it. It's true that other brands make a more powerful version of 3" cutoff but the m12 has a lot going for it. Do not try to cut wood unless you get an actual wood cutting blade from Amazon. The carbide wheels say they can cut wood but they are awful at it! I got a few 3" wood cutting blades from Amazon and the one with a bunch of little teeth works pretty great! The plunge/dust cover thing is great for cutting straight lines up against a guide!
Its not for cutting wood. The amount of replies to this guys video of people bitching about this tool not effectively doing things IT ISNT DESIGNED TO DO is astounding
Bought one of these bc I'm terrified of grinders. Just needed to cut some chassis bits up to bolt in a roll bar. Don't use it much but God damn did it make the install easy.
I am seriously thinking about changing to milwaukee they have some nice smaller gear I do like this m12 stuff I wish dewalt would make something like this
Honestly he just gives me bad vibes these days. Ive been on the tools for a while now and all his kit is just ridiculous. I couldn't stop laughing when he was setting up that unistrut cutter monstrosity

Love this tool. Made me a fortune over the years. I sell bikes the are left abandoned on the streets.
lol
Do you also sell catalytic converters and meth?

I use this for cutting in metal studs. Carving tiles around floor drains and skim cutting drywall. Best little tool I've ever bought
Weapon of choice down the pub by the look of things 😅

I think I’ve seen somewhere that it needs at least a 4Ah battery to work correctly. But I might be wrong.
The attachment is a dust collection cover
I have had one of these for about 4/5 years and it is brilliant for cutting cable tray/basket and any other light thin metal,
