I would not be mad if the next special is a Goth Kids movie that is literally Clerks mixed with Repo! the Genetic Opera. They should definitely bring the Twilight fan back. Maybe even a little Billy & Mandy with Zim.
I think Dickinbaus is easily the strongest episode, It's so goddamn relatable. Even going past the current generation, EVERYONE has worked with an Eric Cartman. EVERYONE.
I love seeing younger fans express their love for the show recently. It means people are enjoying and adapting the content in new ways which is good. Its a powerful staple of long form storytelling and understanding of satire-allowing dialogue with new gens and means for an examination of social history with creative expansion upon the characters. That alone allows for closer social connections and creative expression too. Love to see it!!!!
A lot of "young fans" are young in age but have been watching south park, even if in secret, since elementary or middle school. Hell, sleeping at my friends house in 1st grade was my first time watching South Park. I remember which friend's house it was, what episode it was, and I remembered not to tell my parents I had watched that show that young. I didnt see more than an episode here or there for another maybe 6 or 7 years but then had access to all episodes, even banned ones, in late middle school. I had already known about the characters and universe, so I didnt need to learn about anyone or anything while watching the show, or wasnt shocked at whatever direction it would go, as I had watched it go randomly in different directions when I was able to see it here and there as a younger kid. Now as an adult, still the GOAT along with King of the Hill

My favorite part was the Myrtle Beach part. I live an hour away and Myrtle Beach makes the news all the time. It's currently bike week and it's guaranteed that someone will be killed. Still not the most dangerous city in SC, I live in the most dangerous part, but we still don't fw Myrtle Beach.

With some SP fans saying "the new fans are ruining the show" I cant help but think... more people are discovering and enjoying a show that has survived for such a long time. Why are some people upset at this "new fans" and still complain that their fandom is dying? Im personally happy that SP is gaining attention again. A new generation of teens is discovering a show that is ultimately entertaining.

The best part is that through all those years Matt and Trey friendship and business relationship has it changed. Usually there are creative differences for money issues when it comes to the business side but these two have realized what they are good at. For Trey it is the creative side of South Park, which he does most of the writing. For Matt it is the business side and pitching in the writing and creative process with Trey.
I used to sit on the basement stairs and watch southpark behind my dad's shoulder, until he noticed I was there and yelled at me to go to bed. Now my own son is being ushered out of the room whenever I'm playing stick of truth/ fractured butt. Bringing families together for generations 😂
The specials on paramount were freakin awesome. Butters locked up in an asylum for selling NFT’s was great. Also the 25th anniversary concert was hilarious from start to finish.

If I wanted to socially engineer a generation to develop ADHD type deficits and kill their intellectual curiosity, making those viral would be even more effective than the public school system.
I think that with the Andrew Tate character, they were just trying to get his foot in the door while he was still relevant so that they could build off of that in a future episode. I don’t think the character will be a significant celebrity, but I think they’ll do more with his character later
Andrew and Tristan both really appreciated it, so I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing for his character. It’s probably funnier when the celebrity gets offended

Not gonna lie, tiktok also got me into south park. I decided to check it out a few months ago and ended up absolutely loving the show. Even though some people get pissy about all the new gen z fans, that’s just how life is. Either the new generation picks something up or it gets lost to time. I think the most important reason why South Park became famous lately is because it looks like a trashy show at first glance, only after you sit through 15-30 seconds of good South Park clip you'll understand that animation has nothing to do with quality for this show. At least that's how I became a fan in mid 2023, and after that I've binge watched every episode. So short clips did wonders in making South Park famous.
My friend finally decided to give the show a watch, both after me showing it to her and the tiktok clips, and she’s loving it. It’s really refreshing to see people enjoy the show again and for it to gain a modern younger audience after such a long time. Great to see how people seem to love the show more while other long running shows have been getting dissed for years (valid or not.) can’t wait for this to continue and see what’s next.

I've honestly never thought they were falling off. I believe it was how they were on Trump's neck is what made ppl criticize them saying they were getting too political and "woke" because they were trashing someone they love so much. That and them easing up on all the poop and gross out humor and started doing more with randy. I will say they could have done a little more with the kids but there are so many funny characters that it was cool to see them play around with the adults more
This season was 🔥. I loved every episode which hasn't happened since season 21 lol. The Worldwide Privacy Tour is probably my favorite because Meghan and Harry are literally EVERYWHERE and I can’t run away from it even if I try. I've never related to Kyle as much as I did watching that episode.

It’s really refreshing to see people enjoy the show again and for it to gain a modern younger audience after such a long time. Great to see how people seem to love the show more while other long running shows have been getting dissed for years (valid or not.) can’t wait for this to continue and see what’s next.

It’s really sad how South Park lost its popularity in the last few years but season 26 was so good it really felt like old South Park. But even tho this season was amazing, the first seasons will always be the best South Park age and you can’t convince me otherwise.

I've honestly never thought they were falling off. I believe it was how they were on Trump's neck is what made ppl criticize them saying they were getting too political and "woke" because they were trashing someone they love so much. That and them easing up on all the poop and gross out humor and started doing more with randy. I will say they could have done a little more with the kids but there are so many funny characters that it was cool to see them play around with the adults more

Personally i think the up tik in quality is due to mike judge coming back with beavis and butthead and the upcoming king of the hill return, i think his return has reignited a fire in them by giving them some decent quality competition they haven't had in awhile
